Heart of the Village
September 6, 2015I love my apartment because it is located directly in the heart of Greenwich Village. The neighborhood is friendly and fun. I can walk to Washington Square Park and hear all kinds of music , plus enjoy seeing the dogs in the dog run. There are restaurants all over plus delis that are open 24 hours per day. There are wonderful music clubs that do not cost a fortune. There is also an amazing sense of history in the Village. The actual apartment is small but cozy. I have 3 little rooms and I design ...them to reflect my life. The secret is not to collect a lot of "stuff"that you do not need. We get great heat in the winter and no trouble getting hot water. Our super is wonderful. He takes care of everyone. The whole building is kept clean. Stairs are washed every other day. If we need something done, the super and the management make sure to do it. I feel completely comfortable and taken care of in my little home. I love being able to leave the building late at night to go to the store or even to go hear some music and know I am safe. In so many parts of the country, you would either not be safe doing this or the sidewalks would roll up at dusk. Both the actual apartment, the whole building and the neighborhood have great character. It is like an American version of Europe. I give this apartment the highest rating and I feel blessed to live in Greenwich Village.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
