  • You get what you pay for

    For the location the price seems to be great at first but, with a closer look you begin to see why the price is lower for its area. To begin with, its location is right next to a fire station which happens to be extremely active due to its proximity to the hill. Additionally, things like storage and parking are a major issue for this apartment as there is no guarantee that you will have a spot regardless of whether you are a tenant or not. Some nice things about this place is its access to things ...
    like campus and grocery stores and restaurants. Being across the street from both of these things is a big plus in my books and makes up for some of these issues I highlighted. Finally, one thing that has really bugged me more than anything else is was the fact that the upkeep of the unit was very poor in my opinion, many of the appliances are old and outdated as well as a hole being in the wall when we moved in.

    While the size of a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom works pretty well for four people, it is slightly crowded in terms of storage. The parking for the whole unit is also very tight, and there is not alternative parking that is close. I like the layout of the apartment, as well as the whole complex, and love that there is front door access as well as through two of the bedrooms. It could definitely use heating in the colder months, as it doesn't get much sunlight. The location is pretty great, with walking ...
    access to grocery stores, buses, and the university. Closet space is also an upside, as well as having appliances such as dishwasher and washer/dryer. The space is easy to work with and very versatile for different possible set up styles.
