For the music lover, there are plenty of radio stations available in Boulder. These include KVOD - classical music, KCFR - public radio, KTCL - alternative, and KXBG - country. For those that love the outdoors, you'll want to head over to Flagstaff Mountain for its panoramic vistas. Indoors, there's the NOAA's Earth System Research Laboratory which gives a great tour. Of course, no day outing is complete without a stop at the Mountain Flower Dairy. If you love goats, you'll love this dairy.
What is there to do around Boulder?
From hiking to biking to climbing, Boulder is an outdoors kind of place. With the Rocky Mountains in your backyard, the sky is truly the limit. For those less inclined to climb a mountain, stop off at an art gallery during the Studios Fall Artist Tour, or check out Pearl Street for great restaurants, pubs, and nightlife.

In February you can enjoy the Wintercraft Beer Festival as well as the Boulder Bach Festival. March brings with it the Boulder Arts Week as well as the Boulder International Film Festival. April is for the Boulder Farmers Market as well as the Tulip Fairy & Elf Festival.
Where are the nearby vacation spots?
If you need a little pampering and enjoy history, check out the Oxford Hotel in Denver, just thirty miles away. The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera will take you into the mountains for some fresh air and great views and is about a three-hour drive.
Where is the best place to move in Boulder?
When it is time to find apartments in Boulder, you need to check out these neighborhoods. Wonderland Hill and Pine Brook Hills are ranked as the best neighborhoods. They are ten minutes from downtown and you'll find a real sense of community there. Great Boulder apartments can also be found in Whittier which ranks well for those with children.
