The exposed water-based heating piping running through the apt is a hazard for everyone —better remember telling your guests to avoid touching the pipes during winter. Although not in this particular apt, other apts in the building have had leakage problems, making me wonder how long will it take for those issues hit this apt. The best feature of this apt is its location. A block away from the subway station, four blocks away from Central Park, it's one of the best apt -within my restricted budget- I've seen before moving in two years ago. As a newcomer to NYC at the time, the simplified transportation options were kindly welcomed, and being close to Midtown, makes a perfect fit for those working in that area.
