DO NOT Live Here
July 16, 2021While the other tenants were absolutely lovely, it does not make-up for management being absolutely TERRIBLE. I do realize I made choices that contributed to this bad experience - I could have kept looking, but I was desperate at the time - however I hope that my account will be helpful as you make your decision. 1. SUSPICIOUS MONETARY ACTIVITY: When I moved out they had taken OVER $100 out of my deposit for a "cleaning fee". I had PROOF that I had thoroughly cleaned, the place was in great ...shape, and that THEY DID NOT clean before the new tenant moved in, nor anytime after that. When I kindly asked about the charge, I was completely blocked with no explanation. To this day I have never gotten a response or my money back. 2. FORGETTING ABOUT YOU: On move-in day, despite the fact we had an agreed upon time and place, I waited FIVE-AND-A-HALF HOURS for the person to show. After speaking with some residents, they said this was typical as management was very disorganized and probably forgot. (It turns out they did forget.) 3. COMPLETELY UNRESPONSIVE: Once you're moved in, the building manager won't respond to you for MONTHS, IF EVER, so good luck if you need anything. 4. NOT SAFE: There was a forced entry through the back door during my stay there. All security cameras remained down and off, even after that event. 5. RIDICULOUS ACCUSATIONS AGAINST TENANTS: The laundry machines were broken into while I was there and management’s solution was to individually accuse everyone, through text, of stealing in hopes someone would come forward. No one did but a lot of innocent people - who had been historically good tenants - were not happy they were blindly accused of theft. 6. ASKING YOU TO DO THEIR JOB: There was a tenant moving in after me and management couldn't find the CO rent application so they asked me to track it down for them and help the new tenant through the process. Apart from being incredibly unprofessional, this was just another example of their inability to do their job. 7. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION: If you do apply, don't expect management to respond to you or your application without IMMENSE follow-up on your end. This was not just my experience, this was the experience of MANY. 8. CHECK YOUR LEASE TERMS: If you do move here, check your lease and look for any loose ends such as what you are responsible for versus what the building is responsible for. I found a few less than desirable terms.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
