Would not live here
September 13, 2021Pros: Spacious floor plans with great natural light and cheap electricity bills. Cons: Management, management, management. My roommate and I have lived in several buildings and have never been more unhappy with management. The "security" system has been breaking at least twice a month--no exaggeration--such that either 1) you can't enter through the front door, 2) you can't EXIT through the front door, or 3) the front door is unlocked to anyone and everyone, and it'll stay this way for days to ...weeks at a time. The property manager never notifies tenants when the system breaks down, nor does he send updates on what's being done to fix it. Or updates on anything, for that matter. I've also had $100's worth of packages stolen from inside the building (I have video proof of it being delivered inside) and have needed to purchase a post office box to have my packages delivered to. This is also one of many cheaply built buildings in Philly and, surprise, many of the pipes weren't insulated, leading to leaking ceilings in a brand new building. Will take months to get it repaired. All apartment buildings have problems, but a communicative property manager can make all the difference--you won't find that here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Don't do it
May 18, 2021Many of us are the first to live in these units and they are literally falling apart. Cheap construction, your closets/home will smell like whatever your neighbor is doing. The front door regularly locks you out, unable to exit or enter the building, the back door can be opened without a code- yay safety! The windows have fallen streetside from the third and fourth floor, but now they only open ONE INCH! Yes windows that will not open. Management is weird. Manager seems to take things ...personally. Rude and short, seems to take everything personally. Forgets that you actually inhabit the space called your apartment. They will enter without notifying. Creepy. Also won't inform you when there is a fire in the building.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Beware
April 7, 2021Property manager does not communicate with residents. Constant construction in building after fire. Property is not well maintained with broken glass in trash room, sawdust, and pain left in hallways from contractors. Packages are not secure in building. Do yourself a favor and find another apartment to rent.Review from Apartments.com
