Perfect Apartment in every way
August 6, 2015My apartment is truly gorgeous and unique for a one bedroom. I live on a beautiful tree-lined street in East Harlem in a converted brownstone. I'm only 2 blocks from the train and subway. Shops are around the corner as well as restaurants. My apartment is huge-1000 square foot, but the best part is the apartment is 2 floors! LR, kitchen and DR are downstairs and bedroom and bath is upstairs along with a small balcony. The apartment was just modernized(refinished hardwoods, granite, stainless ...steel,etc) just before I moved in. Since each apt. is 2 floors the entire building has only 8 apartments. MICE!
July 20, 2015The building is infested. The owners send out "exterminators" once a month who do nothing to address the problem other than handing out stickey traps. My bathroom has black mold and a leaky ceiling. I know this NYC , but conditions here are unacceptable. On the plus side the building has a nice yard area. I almost think I'd be better off sleeping out there, though.Review from Apartments.com
