You get what you pay for
August 18, 2022While affordable you would be better off paying more to avoid the downsides. Roaches, mice, coin operated laundry, and general disrepair. walls sloppily repainted many times and my unit had the faux wood flooring pealing up in some spots, my bathroom sink cabinet had partially rotted in some areas. Went a stretch without heat in the dead of winter when I lived here and had to buy space heaters to stay warm with no compensation or apology from management. Neighbors were all nice but i was glad to ...move out, it worked if you don't intend to spend much time in your apartment and don't mind roaches.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Good location, poor management
January 19, 2020Lived here for 3 years. What you see is what you get. Cute, charming, old. Tenants went 2.5 weeks without heat last winter. Several tenants filled complaints to the city due to poor management because of this, for which the landlord was fined for. Their inability to fix it in a timely manor or provide reduced rent for the 2.5 weeks without heat was appalling.Property Manager Responded
June 9, 2023Thank you for your review and for giving us a chance to serve you. Many improvements have been made including installing a new boiler for the heating system. The great community in this building compliments the vintage charm. - Ana/SRP Realty

Cute, Quirky, Friendly Community
September 23, 2015This is a small, 17 unit apartment building. It takes no time at all to get to all the major parts of DC. The building has a sweet personality with a great backyard. I love it! Right next to the Russian Embassy, which is neat. The super is really nice and so is maintenance. Unlike other DC apartments, it feels homey and isolated even though it is right on Wisconsin. I never hear traffic.Property Manager Responded
