320 East 52nd street
August 16, 2015Great one bed one bath apartment in a nice quiet neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff, including doorman and supers. Brand new appliances and bathroom. Building has its own private laundry room in basement. One block from 6 E and M train. GREAT LOCATION. Many restaurants and bars on 2nd avenue.Review from Apartments.com
Large Alcove Studio
August 12, 2015I currently live with my boyfriend in this large alcove studio (about 550 sq.ft.). We blocked the alcove off with a curtain to make it feel more like a true one bedroom. It is a very good living space for a couple or single person just starting out. It does not have a dishwasher, but laundry on site, part time doormen, and elevator make up for that. We have had issues with the air conditioning which has been a large downfall for us with this apartment. It is no fee if you go straight to the ...management company (stellar management and ask to view the apartment yourself). There is laundry in the basement which is $2.35 per wash and per dry which is a little pricey and you can only use their laundry cards to make them work. The location is pretty good, close to grocery stores and subway stops, but it is a little dead at night minus a few bars and the food selections for take our/delivery are definitely better in lower Manhattan. Overall, this apartment is nice with a renovated kitchen and bathroom and we definitely enjoyed it as our first NYC apartment.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Alcove Studio On Quiet Street
August 11, 2015550 sq ft alcove studio on quiet block of 52nd st between 1st and 2nd ave. Laundry in basement. Door man 8am-midnight. Central air. Renovated kitchen. Wood floor. Elevator. 13 story building. No rooftop. No gym. Doormen are nice. Management is pretty typical. Not the worst but not great. They fix things when you ask but sometimes it takes a few days. Super lives in building. Street is very quiet. Not too many great restaurants but a good amount of mediocre ones. Laundry service next door. Food ...emporium 100 yards from door. No parking except for parking garage down the st.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
