Old Building in a Safe and Convenient Neighborhood
August 4, 2015PROS: Just two short blocks from the subway, 15 minutes to NYC, a subway that's even full in the middle of the night, and a neighborhood that's never devoid of people, you can't beat the convenience and sense of safety. Landlords live in the building and are totally accessible. Having lived here for 20 years, I've watched the old Greek family-oriented neighborhood become younger and hipper and have watched nearby Long Island City go from a wasteland to an artistic hub. CONS: Four-story ...walk-up building with limited closet space and 83-year-old plumbing.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
