Current Tenant - Unacceptable heater noise at night
December 10, 2018Some parts of 35 E 35th Street, like my nicely renovated kitchen, are wonderful. Unfortunately, none of them make up for my inability to sleep in the winter. The heaters, which most people turn off because they turn the apartments into ovens, are extremely loud. The ancient radiator system drips water throughout the night, and the pipes create a loud clanging sound. Living in NYC means that no apartment will ever be quiet, but the sound that the heaters make is louder and more frequent ...than the horns honking on the street. I have called management and have bugged the handymen multiple times and nothing has happened. I have talked to other tenants in the building and they say it's the same every year. I will not be re-signing next year, and I would not encourage anyone to live here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
