bought for extra surface area and to separate the kitchen from living space. The whole apartment has crown and base molding, new light fixtures, new white doors, and radiators built into the walls/under windows. The apartment itself is on the top floor and gets great light durin the day. Because it's on the top floor it can get warm, so an AC is definitely necessary during the summer (in the winter just cracking a window or two is good enough). There are a few minor issues - the video intercom doesn't really work, the shower nozzles can be temperamental (but the water pressure is the best), and noise from the street can be heard pretty well in the main bedroom. The coolest feature of the building is the manually operated elevator - operated 24 hrs a day by multiple attendants who are so friendly and helpful!
