This spacious apartment is being offered on a month to month basis, perfect for someone with a short term housing need. We are exploring selling it to downsize so it has been on the housing market since December but not an ideal time to try to sell so likely it would be for a minimum of 3 months to 6 months. Beautiful self contained upper level of a 21 year old split ranch in a lovely private wooded setting on the southern rural edge of New Paltz. This is perfect spot for a mature, quiet, nature loving individual or couple. The large bright kitchen has ample cupboards and a counter that wraps around extending to an eat -in peninsula . The counter divides the kitchen from the spacious dining room which opens to the living room (north east facing, sun rising) ) on one side and to a deck overlooking the backyard (west facing sun setting ) on the other. The Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower and 2 large closets. The 2 other medium size rooms could double as home office(s) or guest rooms. The central bathroom has a tub and shower. There are hardwood floors throughout. The home is equipped with a Propane range and fireplace, dishwasher and microwave . Although photos show some furnishings the unit is being rented unfurnished. Utilities included are Wifi, electricity, heat, water and sewage, garbage, snow removal and lawn care. Tenants pay for cable TV. if they wish to have it. Heat is provided with Oil in Baseboard Heaters and cooling with window AC's. Shared Electric washer and Propane dryer on ground floor. The well water is outfitted with a new ultraviolet purification system. Shared use of raised beds and garden space available for those with a green thumb! The rental is limited to 1 to 2 people as we cover the cost of utilities and to minimize use of the well and septic systems. Home owners live on the lower level with their own separate back entrance. We do not drink, smoke or use drugs and as such would love to host tenants who also are abstinent or moderate in consumption of recreational substances. No smoking/vaping in the apt. No pets. Month to month lease. Peaceful, quiet, rural area and only a 10 minute drive to New Paltz with all its shopping and services. We are located in a Nature Lover's playground with Hiking Trails, The Rail Trail, Bike ways, all within a short distance.
