Not a bad spot
October 4, 2015"Beverly Bettina" is the alluring name of this two-story, 15-unit building located literally next door to the city of Beverly Hills. Built in 1957, this tandem-parking, courtyard-style apartment would prove to be a good hiding spot fior people wanting to live on the down-low. Neighbors are polite but not overly friendly. Everyone keeps to themselves. Turnover is fairly high. At least once every two months someone is moving out. Late 50s details like sliding pocket doors and casement windows are ...a minor plus. Building is in fairly good condition, owned by a family that lives nearby and attends to plumbing and other wear-and-tear problems. This is not a fancy, modern design and the lack of street parking (building is located across the street from the rear of the gargantuan SLS Hotel) makes it a pain to invite friends over but it's a very safe neighborhood and a pretty good rent controlled deal. Walking distance to Trader Joes and the Beverly Center are a major plus.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
