Los Feliz Studio
July 31, 2015This place has all the ups and downs of an 'Old Hollywood' 1930s studio; Ironing board folds down from the kitchen, pantry was once an ice box, tile counter tops.. you get the idea. The building isn't exactly 'immaculately' maintained but does everything one can reasonably expect. There is no AC and the built in heater is a bit dodgy. But in the end it's the location that cures all it's faults. Walking distance from all the cool restaurants, shops, bars and classic theaters. And only a few blocks ...from the Greek Theater/ Griffith park. Despite the building being on Franklin Ave. (a fairly busy street) it stays pretty quite once inside. The parking situation can be slightly annoying (as it's nonexistent) however, after a few years here is no problem at all to get a space 95% percent of the time. Honestly, I've racked up way more tickets living in the valley... The location is great. Los Feliz is a true community despite being well within eyeshot of Hollywood proper.
