Mostly a great place with a few caveats
August 10, 2015I've been living at Delaware Pl, apartment 1, for about 2 months now and so far it's been great. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood in Brighton, huge kitchen with functional appliances. Air conditioners built into every room, ceiling fans, pets allowed, back deck. Some of the rooms have private bathrooms which is also great. Electric stove, tons of storage in the kitchen. Another brilliant feature is the full length mirrors on all the closet doors, and there's plenty of storage space in ...each room. It's wonderful, I'm really gonna miss the mirrors and air conditioner when I move out. The main problem I have with this apartment is that the water in the shower does not get hot at all. It's warm, but that's it. I usually shower at my boyfriend's place because the shower here is basically unusable. I can't speak for the rest of the building or the private baths (I use the main one in the kitchen). The other thing I'm not in love with about this apartment is that there is no yard whatsoever, no grass at all anywhere on the property. Of course, it's in city limits, it's to be expected. But still annoying, and something to consider if you like grass or have a dog. It can also get quite noisy here, another thing to be expected living in the city. Overall, this is a brilliant apartment at a great price in a good location. The main problem is the shower, which you might be able to get fixed. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to move to Brighton.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
