September 15, 2015I live in Washington Heights. It is a primarily Dominican area and the apartments in this area are bigger for less money than most places in the Manhattan/Brooklyn area! It has no elevator so moving in and bringing large shopping loads up the stairs is kind of a pain, but its worth it for the price! the apartment was freshly renovated before I moved in, although the floors are old and wooden so there are some squeaky boards and the guy under us is not too happy about that. a lot of ups and downs ...but for the price of this apartment, its worth it! Also, 1 block away form the metro and 1 block away from a park! very nice. everything you need is a block away!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
