Renters Reviews and Ratings
OK location but horrible condition
July 27, 2018I lived here for about 1.5 years on the first floor by the gate. Since it is an older building, the noise level was very high. I can hear almost every step from my upstairs neighbor. The unit also had a dysfunctional heater, which I complained to the manager about but was never fixed. It is furnished with an oven/range, refrigerator, and has cable access (no fiber optic), which is average considering the price. One major issue is parking. Street parking is abysmal. If you're lucky to get one of ...the small assigned parking in the back, it's not covered so you will get sun damage. The neighborhood is relatively safe. I never encountered any suspicious people while living here, but certainly not a place for the "young girl who wants to feel safe" type of person. I like how there's a lot of markets and food places nearby, I walked pretty much all the time. It is also very close to the Metro Redline station, which I now see as a huge benefit considering I live far from it now. The reason for the 2-star rating is it is a fair place. The price point is just below average for the location, but it is an older building so it is missing a lot of amenities common in more modern buildings (For example, central A/C). Noise level is relatively high, but with the right tenants it's not too bad. I never had issues with Amazon packages being stolen (which I am still very surprised about). The proximity to nearby vendors is great, including a taco truck that is at the WSS shoe parking lot every night.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on scale of 1 (below average) and to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider needs as part of the school selection process.
