Bad Experience at 55 Jordan
June 30, 2024Our recent experience with Goose Property Management Company at 55 Jordan has been profoundly disappointing. After over two years of timely payments and responsible tenancy, our move-out process revealed significant administrative inefficiencies and a lack of professionalism. Despite repeated efforts to resolve issues regarding our security deposit, we were met with a frustrating cycle of miscommunication and delays. Each team member redirected us to another, and our inquiry about the pro-rated ...refund amount remains unanswered. Our interactions were marred by administrative errors, particularly concerning our lease renewal, which led to unnecessary delays. Even though we promptly complied with all requirements, the back-and-forth persisted due to oversights on their end. Our decision to move out was influenced by these inefficiencies. We also faced unjust penalties for the days the unit was off the market, despite acting in good faith based on the information provided to us. We had requested: A prompt return of our security deposit. A waiver of charges for the days the unit was not marketed. Confirmation of the final inspection date to ensure a smooth conclusion to our tenancy. Unfortunately, none of these reasonable requests were honored. The mishandling of our security deposit and the adversarial stance adopted by the management have left us deeply dissatisfied. Potential tenants should be aware of these issues before engaging with this company. Our intention was to part on good terms, but the persistent administrative negligence and lack of accountability have tarnished our overall experience. To date they are holding our SD and have neglected to be in contact.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Ok But Not A Luxury Building By Any Means
July 29, 2022I’ve lived here for almost a year and will definitely not be renewing my lease. Its an ok apartment building with basic amenities but doesn’t live up to the luxury status it is marketed as. There’s no in unit W/D included in the apt even though there are hookups and if you want a W/D installed they will charge you $75 a month which is crazy. There is a laundry room in the building but it is not free and only has a few machines. There is no shuttle service offered to the PATH station which is a 14 ...minute walk away. The rooftop is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day which makes no sense and is a waste of a great amenity. The appliances in the units aren’t full size which isn’t an issue for me since I live alone but can be an issue for 2 or more people. The area is so-so. I’ve personally never felt unsafe walking home at any time of day/night but at the same time there is a crack house next door. Oh and lastly my bathroom faucet runs cloudy water and has since I moved in. I have told the leasing office numerous times and they have done nothing to fix the problem. Just told me to “let it run” and it should clear up. It hasn’t. Overall this would be a decent place to live if it were cheaper but for the price they charge (which I’m sure will increase with time) it’s not worth it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
A Great Home with a great View to NYC Skyline!
October 31, 2021We are delighted to have chosen this property for our new home. The units are great, and the super is caring and approachable. Everyone makes us feel safe, secure, and at home. These is a diversify building units for families with children, couples, singles, and very pet friendly. Some of the amenities are not ready at the time of posting this, but everyday we see people working at it. We are grateful to have had Brigitte, from modern spaces doing everything she could and going out of her ...way to help us get into this apartment. Thank you Brigitte!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Incredible Experience
September 28, 202155 Jordan was the first building I've looked at in Jersey City that I felt was destined to be my "home." Not only are the amenities (still under construction, but can already see how beautiful they are from the tile work and layouts. The natural lighting all in and around the building is unmatched! Working with Mario Deras has been enjoyable, comfortable, and seamless. These units will be gone fast!Review from Apartments.com
