Amazing value, but a bit far from downtown
September 13, 2015This apartment is just a short walk to the Bryn Mawr redline, which makes transit painless. However, if you are working downtown, it is important to note that during rush hour, it can take up to 50 min to get downtown depending on how slow the line is running. Overall, the apartment has all of the amenities that would cost you an arm and a leg closer to downtown. In-unit W/D, dishwasher, balcony, and uncovered parking spot in the back. My two biggest problems with the apartment: 1. There is ...little insulation or noise reductions amongst walls and floors. I hear every step the upstairs neighbors made as if they were elephants, and sometimes I can hear full conversations in the apartment next to me. 2. Our bathroom was painted with an improper type of paint that is not compatible with water. We experienced bubbling near our bathtub area, which cannot be "quick fixed" and would require a whole new sanding and re-painting.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
