Management allowed me to stay for over 7 months free. I had cancer.
May 31, 2017I do not know what I could do without their help. The manager is my lifesaver. I never forget this priceless help. Thank you for everything you guys did for me. Thank you for allowing me to find what to do next. You are the best. My unit was super and the community is very human. It was pleasant to stay with you, guys!Review from Apartments.com
AFTER BEEN as 10 YEARS RESIDENT HERE. STILL I M THE RESIDENT! GOOD JOB, MANAGEMENT!
May 31, 2017I moved into my unit almost 10 years ago. Time go fast. I have to say the best part is the way the management takes care of the tenants and the building. The gardeners come every week to take care of the grounds. It always looks great. The pool is wonderful. My unit was renovated before i moved in and still today i have had no issues. I appreciate the way they update our windows or doors and all the energy updates they have done over the past to keep our energy bills low.Review from Apartments.com
A great place to live
May 14, 2017Moving to LA from across the country, this was a great starting point. The property manager is so sweet and will take time out of her day to catch up with her tenants. Our unit is super nice, spacious and the community is great. Also, I've always felt safe around the area. We have had a few issues, but the property manager has tried to get things fixed as quickly as possible. Overall, it's a really great community and I have loved living here.Review from Apartments.com
A dream is a wish you're heart makes at 5860 Hazeltine Ave
May 13, 2017I have lived in my apartment here for two years now and have never lived in another better! Olga is the best!!! She is such a great friend and landlord. Land LORD!!! :-p Just kidding, she's a dream a wish your heart makes. Like the white rabbit in alice in wonderland, she will help you through anything you need! I spend my days by the pool like a frog! The pool is always maintained and ready for a swimmy swim, ribbit ribbit! The area is wonderful and I love it! Close to so many great things and ...get THIS... it's always sunny! Not kidding! Also, there is a cat that wanders around who is super nice and sometimes he or she flips over and plays in front of our door. Meow! I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a nice place with a great vibe and a cool landlord who ROCKS!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Keep your Money and Your Sanity
May 1, 2017I too have experienced terrible living conditions by moving into this complex. I lived here from 2015 - 2016 and it is no where near luxury. When i first viewed the unit, i met with a woman who says she is the manager and seems nice at first but instead she is the co-owner and once you sign a lease her attitude and demeanor changes immediately. As far as living there goes, when you need a repair done, its like pulling teeth with this woman. They have a bug / roach problem but will deny it make it ...your fault. She blamed me completely and took it out of my security deposit as move-out charges. The apartments are very poor quality maintenance jobs. Needing things fixed in the unit, they will come however expect to be billed as move-out charges. If you have a pet, you will have to pay an insanely high pet rent / deposit. There is no security cameras, the building is gated however feel free to reach around it and let yourself in since they aren't to keen on fixing the gate. The "Luxury Pool" is always dirty and the tiles are chipped and broken! I moved out in May 2016 expecting to get back my thousands of dollars in full deposit back as promised but the manage/co-owner however even with photos and videos of a very well in tact unit this woman claimed i had cause over $6,000 worth of DAMAGES & FEES. I have spent the last 11 months in court battling to get my money back. These people are the ABSOLUTE WORST, and I you think that moving out is such a relief but it seemed like a never ending nightmare. Please, stay away, stay far away. You can find a way better unit elsewhere for the money you are about to spend. If you rent here, you will have your money stolen with the excuse of bogus charges and fees. Its best to avoid this place and save yourself from a possible a 1-2 year court battle because they will try to keep your money and or keep you in court. Also I am not the only tenant to take them to court either, 2 other tenants contacted me with similar claims.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
It's a trap, run the other way.
July 20, 2016Run the other way. The health department came out the second week because of the roach problem. Shoddy construction and repair work throughout. The main contact person is the owner who poses as a property manager, but is completely absent and constantly lies. She will say and do anything to get you into the apartment, but when you try to get her to put something in writing, she won't. Our storage unit was broken into 3 times. Lures tenants from out of town with a Sherman Oaks price and address, ...but the property is in Van Nuys.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
