Almost Perfect, Small LA Apartment for New Grads
September 12, 2015This is the perfect apartment for young roommates! Small, but functional. The apartment resides on the 2nd floor of a small 3 unit building that resembles a large house. This apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a living room, kitchen AND a dining room. Let's get to the good stuff! The building is perched at the top of a slope in Windsor Hills. The views from the kitchen and dining room overlook West LA and some of South Bay. You can see the beach, LAX and the beautiful city lights that twinkle ...during the evenings. Only 12 mins away from LAX, an Uber ride there cost me $6. AMAZING! Another huge plus of this apartment is parking. Day or night, I have always managed to find a spot within 200 ft my front door. For all of you who live/ever lived in LA, you know parking is worth gold here! Why 4 stars and not 5? The apartment is on the smaller side. My roommate and I both have twin beds to maximize space and couldn't IMAGINE fitting a larger bed into the small bedrooms. It also has very little closet/storage space. Though it's nice to be on the outskirts of LA, there aren't any cute shops/restaurants/businesses in walking distance. This is the almost perfect first apartment for newly graduated singles ready to take on the world. Probably not the perfect place for a family ready to settle down.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
