You get what you pay for

The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Close to University of Chicago and Hyde Park. Until you go two block south to 63rd street, people hang out in the streets under the L train all day long. The people who live in the building are nice. The problems are the roaches and the bathroom. The roach problem is MUCH better than when we first moved in. There are monthly exterminations. But every once in a while, another roach appears. The water pressure in the shower EXTREMELY low. There's only a trickle ...
of hot water and a blast of cold water, so to get it to a good temperature, the pressure is abysmal. I often visit my mother's house for a good shower. The sink has two faucets. You have to call the building owner to get tokens for the laundry room. But the price of rent is pretty low so it's a trade off
