The apartment: Over 1,000 sq ft. Building was built in 1914; lots of historic charm. The apartment is on the second floor, is huge and gorgeous, with a lot of natural light and storage. There is a private porch. The two living rooms and kitchen are spacious, the bedrooms are a little smaller, both have sky lights. The bathroom has a claw foot bathtub. Rent is month to month at $450, and utilities run approximately $45/mo each person, depending on how much cooking happens (natural gas). Move-in date is variable. The room will be available October 25th, but if you're looking to move sooner or later, feel free to send inquiries my way. Laundry is on site in the basement. There is street parking, and the apartment is located a 10 minute walk from the downtown bus station, a 15 minute bike ride to campus, and strolling distance to the barmuda triangle and the brewery district. About me: 32 yo woman who works full time doing social justice work. I'm also taking evening classes-I'm not home often. When I am, I'm in down time hermit mode most of the time. I'm quiet and respectful and have clear communication skills. I'm down for the occasional shared meal, keep the community areas clean of my stuff (my room is a totally different story). I sometimes like to go out-I do not bring the party home (downstairs neighbors have small children). About your other roommates: Two surly black cats that refuse to get jobs or clean. Sorry-no more pets. They are quiet dog-like. If you like cats and are looking for a place-you should come say hi. About you: Clean, respectful, and proactive about getting rent and utilities in on time. Good communication skills preferred. This is a great space for a grad student or someone working full time- If you're more on the quiet side, or at least like to go TO the party, and NOT have it be in your space-this may be a great fit.
