Do not waste your money on this apartment
August 29, 2023esp if you are a student, you pay extra as it is claimed to be closer campus and offers a huge space, while both are true but both are pointless. And on top of that, the apartment is worse in every other respect compared with other normally priced apts, older appliance, older floor, no A/C, no in-unit W/D. In the first 3 months since my move-in, almost nothing worked and I nearly had to file repairing request EVERY WEEK. I remember I once asked them to replace the blinds in the restroom because ...it dropped(quality issue), and guess what! They simply took it away with only the window left and explained that we did not need it after all, wow what a genius solution! The floor is the one of the worst among all apartments I have stayed, poorest quality. It does not even stand the weight of a normal man and a compurer chair. The floor went cracked and we asked for repairing. For sure, they just repair it with floor with same quality, so you know what would happen next. We had to file requests constantly since their floor cannot even stand normal daily use lmao. It's not over yet. Don't you ever dream about get your security deposit back. They will try all their best to find anything blaimable to you and take that money away. My roommate and I did a COMPLETE CLEANING before moving out, it took us two whole days and they still charged us 350usd for "Apartment cleaning", and on top of that, the horrible floor, which we have already agreed to be not responsible for and will not be charged, charged us 1900usd. WOW, just WOW. In a word folks, there is always a better apartment, and it doesnt really have to be this one. It doesnt qualify for that after all. Period.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Diamond in the Rough
August 19, 2015Looking to get what you pay for (and more)? This apartment delivers. It's filled with quaint vintage touches like latched peepholes, cute built in shelving, and catacomb archways. The building is close to multiple universities, giving you a close proximity to the college social scene. However, its located on a nice residential street, meaning you're provided with quiet throughout the day and a sense of safety. The tenants are friendly, I was greeted by one when moving in and told not to hesitate ...if I needed anything. The realtor/landlord was helpful and made me feel like I could call or e-mail if I needed anything, not like I was just another month's rent. The real kicker? Many apartments (if not all) have sun porches, perfect for providing you with the perfect amount of natural light.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
