Spacious in a great area but...
August 3, 20152 bedroom 1 bathroom. The area is amazing, walking distance to downtown Burbank (San Fernando), wide streets, happy families, quiet, plenty of street parking within one block; all of which are hard to come by in Los Angeles. The negatives: No central air (and it gets hot) almost so hot I would rather sit outside in the sun than inside my oven of an apartment. Even with all the fans and wall AC unit on it just doesn't get cool enough for comfort. Also, the rent is high. I'm only a few hundred ...dollars away from a normal monthly mortgage payment for my area...Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
When it's Hot, it's Hot
August 3, 2015We rented our apartment in December. December in L.A. is not hot. The inefficient wall unit that is supposed to cool down our entire 900 sq foot apartment and lack of insulation was not put into consideration in December. Well, soon enough summer came around and we realized we would literally be baking in our apartment. That being said, I love everything else about our apartment. Sure we'd love more closet space and a larger kitchen, but it's got charm and character. Plus we have orange and ...lemon trees in the shared courtyard. We also have a large garage. The apartment feels more like a house with only one shared wall and two doors to the outside. But the heat situation is quite unbearable. Oh well, one day we'll be able to afford a house in L.A. Until then, we suffer through the season.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
