October 16, 2020Not recommended at all. It has been a nightmare since I signed the lease terms. Once I signed it, it seemed like they did not care at all and in order to get a response to any kind of question I had to send 4-5 emails and wait AT LEAST 15 days for a response. Calls would be kind of useless as the superior was the one with the answers and the workers who answered the phone had 0 idea. Once the lease began, you would not have any type of information about how to move in, what apartment was mine (as ...one of the lease terms specified that the apartment unit was not selected yet) or where to get the keys (I got to Urbana 2 weeks after the lease began). I got to the office, and finally one of the workers came with us to the apartment and while she showed us the apartment, one of the rooms was INACCESSABLE! One of my roomates had to literally sleep outside her room after travelling for more than 18 hours just because the landlord had not checked before if the door or key to the room worked properly. "A professional will come tomorrow morning to fix the door" told us the landlord. It took 14 DAYS for the guy to come to our apartment (We ended up openning the door on the 2nd day with our own tools). Because of the coronavirus we left the apartment in March, 2 months before the lease ended. We gave everything in and cleaned the apartment, they would not give in to finishing the lease earlier but I am not going to get into this. The deposit was sent to my house 3 MONTHS after the lease had ended (2 months since I left and gave the keys + 3 months of who knows what they had to do) without mentioning the absurd amounts of money taken (-25%) from the deposit when I literally left my room and common areas impeccable. Overall they showed that they are not professional at all. They just want your money, once you are locked in, they do not care at all. Only good thing I get out of this is that me and my roomates where the first ones from our college to try 901 Western and they literally lost around 25-30 new possible residents every year. PLEASE if you find ANY other place to live, go there!Property Manager Responded

February 17, 2019Towed my car from its parking spot even though I gave them the make and model.i was locked out of my apartment at 2am and they had the nerve to charge to let me in even thought the lock was a broken. Management does not care about residents only about leasing next years apartments.Property Manager Responded
