Quiet, Safe, Good Storage, and Friendly
July 11, 2024There are many pros to living in this apartment complex: - You don't pay for water, heat, or sewage. - The property manager keeps the lobby clean and tidy often and is always around during the week 9-5 ish to help you with anything!! He is very nice!! - There are many storage opportunities (one being the first come first serve storage units in the basement which I would say are roughly (estimate) 5ft wide, 4ft long by 8ft tall. Which is super helpful. - Then in your apt, there is usually a ...large closet that can hold lots of random things and is closed off which keeps things tidy. - My kitchen was fairly updated, with new cabinetry with some old to keep the vintage look but still functional. (I was in the large bedroom apt). - The bathroom was nothing new, but not too old. It was functional, and also kind of aesthetic with a vintage vibe. Could use improvement though. - THE HEAT in the summer/hot months though, now is a real downside to this place if you do not own, or have AC units for every room. - It was a struggle to even hang around during the day (I only had one AC in just my bedroom and it was far too fatiguing to linger long. - There is no ventilation in the apartment aside from windows, and no forced air (vents). And the apartment is fully made out of cement, so it just traps heat. - With that being said, in the winter and colder months, I never got cold really LOL almost too hot most of the time, and had to vent the heat by opening windows. (The building controls the heat, but you can adjust how much you let in by the little dials on radiators which took me a while to understand). - There is laundry in the basement, which is wonderful, but it costs $1.75 in quarters per load of laundry which is tough. - Anyway, did enjoy making friends in this apt complex with some wonderful people, everyone else really kept to themself. - This is just my honest opinions and experience, and I do feel like it helps when deciding and weighing the pros and cons :).Property Manager Responded
