Spare yourself the trouble! Its terrible here !
August 23, 2017This place is a nightmare! Its old and im need of a renovation badly! Something always goes wrong here , we litterally had a fly infestation and landlord offered sticky tape to help instead of an exterminator. The maintenance is available but isn't exactly knowledgeable they really just stick a baind aid on things never really fixes anything. The rugs are old & smell as soon as it's warm out oh and if you have a pet be ready for fleas which live in the rugs . My neighbors another couple had ...mice and their home was always tidy * The neighbors are a pain as there's always a party on the weekend both front and back . The owner doesn't care about anything but colleting the rent . To top things off we got charged a rug cleanenning fee , which like other poster mentioned is illegal for ware and tear . Honestly I can write a whole essay on the terrible conditions, my advice is simply dont move here !Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Very nice place to live for a decent price
March 18, 2016It isn't super fancy or updated, but for the price, you really can't beat it! Very unique layout with each room being on a different floor (you will either love it or hate it), plenty of square footage, your own designated parking spot, your own washer/dryer and a short walking distance to public transportation and Main Street Manayunk. Yes, the unit is all electric-powered, which can bring your bill high if you aren't careful. I just make sure I keep my heat turned down when I'm at work during ...the day and don't blast the heat all night (I'm under covers anyway and like a cooler room), and even during the coldest winter months my electric bill never went over $125. The only thing that occasionally causes inconvenience for me is how small the unit's water heater is. You need to take your shower under 10 - 15 minutes, otherwise it's going to get cold fast! Other than that, this apartment is perfect for me. The property manager and maintenance person are very friendly and accommodating, and sometimes even bring my packages inside for me (with my permission of course). No, it doesn't have hardwood floors or fancy appliances, but overall, this place is really a good place to live.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
expensive to heat, dishonest management
August 11, 2015Units are all-electric (heat pumps) and drafty. Expect $500 monthly electric bills in winter. Management will charge you a carpet cleaning fee of between 200 and 300 bucks when you move out, despite it not being mentioned in the lease and it being against the law (It is illegal in PA to charge tenant for normal wear and tear). 2 years ago I finally found home
July 21, 2015I moved to this place 2 years ago and I can't see myself living anywhere else. I have lived in other apartments before, but I can finally say that now I found home! There's nothing like coming back home and knowing that my neighboors and landlord really care about me and this neighboorhood. This is the perfect place to live!!!Review from Apartments.com
