New landlord
May 16, 2020The landlord is new. There were problems, but a new person took over and half of the tenants left or were evicted between 2018-2019. It’s now a pretty quiet place and all new tenants go through background checks and credit checks.Review from Apartments.com
Crock
December 18, 2019Lived there 4 years ago, again 4 years ago. The owner don’t know who lives there and who does not. This place was and is a joke, our heat went out and did not fix it in the dead of winter, had a package on my door step walked in to him trying to open it. Constant drugs and fighting nothing was ever done about it. Exposed wires and lifting tile in the kitchen. Also base boards where never attached. Kids can’t go outside to play. Horrible absolutely horrible place to live!!!!Property Manager Responded
March 9, 2022Thank you for your review, and for your concerns. While our new management cannot speak to 2015, we can say that after taking over in 2018, we've made maintenance a priority. Current prospects are welcome to ask for references from current tenants.

January 3, 2023We're so sorry to hear about your experience under the prior management. Since then, the community has undergone a total management change. (The owner at that time was having health issues, and has since retired.) When we took over, we worked diligently to quickly usher out tenants who didn't meet our requirements per strict criminal and credit background checks. Our current tenant portfolio is an enviable group of community-minded, diverse, responsible people who appreciate quiet neighbors. We have refreshed and designed apartments for new tenants to be bright, fresh and move-in ready.

I AM A CURRENT TENNENT LOOKING TO MOVE FROM HERE!!!
July 10, 2017MY HUSBAND AND I ARE HAVING TO MOVE DUE TO THE CONSTANT HEROIN AND METH USE AND SELLS OF THEE DRUGS. THERE HAS BEEN TWO DEATHS DUE TO OVER DOSES. AND YOU CAN DAILY SEE DRUG SELLS GOING ON IN FRONT OF YOU IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. HEROIN NEEDLES WITH HEROIN RESIDUE STILL INSIDE THE NEEDLES IN THE YARD. ONE CHILD ALMOST STEPPED ON ONE RUNNING IT INTO HIS FOOT. SAD. WE HAVE COMPLAINED TO THE LANDLORD WHO IS OWNER AND NOTHING CHANGES. THE POLICE COME OFTEN BUT AGAIN NOTHING CHANGES! SO OUR OPINION IS: IF ...YOU ARE A DRUG ADDICT YOU WILL LOVE THIS COMPLEX, BUT IF YOU ARE A DECENT PERSON YOU WILL AVOID THIS PLACE.Property Manager Responded
January 17, 2018Management took this claim extremely seriously. We investigated over the course of several weeks, and found no evidence of this assertion, other than what we're told was an individual with some misguided notions. Both former management and the new management take the environment of the Ivy Pointe community seriously. We simply would not and will not tolerate drug activity, nor do we tolerate loud noise, "partying" (although a few friends once in a while or family visiting is fine), loitering, litter or unwelcome guests or vehicles. We have a management's representative who lives on site, and facilities maintenance is on site each day. Our mission is to foster a peaceful, quiet community with clean, spacious apartments, reasonable rents and good neighbors.
