  • Ashford Bayside is our favorite place

    My daughter and I moved here 2 years ago and we have been so happy here....The office staff is AMAZING MauRisha and Heather have been there for my daughter and I every step of the way after a traumatic event that needed us to be transferred to another unit....They were so attentive to our situation and always making sure that we had everything we needed to make that move...The new maintenance staff is just as amazing....Recently they made sure my AC was repaired timely as well as the bath/shower ...
    and my closet doors replaced....MauRisha and Heather got my daughter in to a newly renovated apartment here and our lives have never been better we have neighbors who are amazing and we are truly happy at Ashford Bayside the continuing improvements by management to the property are beautiful and I'm proud to call Ashford Bayside home....

  • LEASING OFFICE CLOSED 24/7

    No one is ever available in the leasing office and they fail to answer their phones (refuse to follow-up with you on any and all issues related to THEIR online payment portal). It’s ridiculous. Complete lack of communication on all sides, I have no idea if/when repairs will be done. If they’re taken care of at all. They shouldn’t be allowed to make people live here.

    Worst place I have ever lived.. I have lived here for almost 10 yrs. The rent keeps going up the quality keeps going down.. My air conditioning is currently broken. They tell me they are sending someone to fix it and never do or they say its fixed and its not.They never answer the phone at the office..RUN!!

  • Drugs everywhere!!

    Visible drug deals go down in the parking lot in broad daylight! Termites are everywhere in the apartments, no pest control. People have aggressive breeds of dogs that are not aloud. They go into your apartment with no prior notice. Management responds to reviews by saying “you should have called and said something “ but that’s a lie. Pool is always closed, trash sits on the walk ways for days on end because the trash butler people only work when they want, and when they do the elevators smell ...
    like rotting trash because they throw everything in there to take it down. Dumpsters are always over flowing! So many better options in the area instead of this place. Hard working honest people shouldn’t have to live with criminals that cheat the system to get in the complex!!

  • Not the place for raising a family.

    If your a family, and looking for a place to raise good family, then keep on looking. We love our apartment, but not the complex. We were lucky to have 1 of the THREE fully remodeled units the complex when the NEW Avesta took over the old owners. Now, from what I've heard from the management, the other two are no where like they use to be. This complex has a HIGH turnover rate of evictions, either not paying rent or having too many police visits (ie domestic abuse, fights, drunkenness, or ...
    disturbing neighbors) The pool is closed way to much due to unsafe swimming conditions. The fitness center is only open Monday threw Friday during office hours as you need to get them to let you in. So, if your a normal 9-5 working stiff, like me; then you never get to use it. Check with the Pinellas County HUD department to verify any complaints such as Bed Bugs investations, and all kinds of other stuff. The one BIGGEST piece of advice I give to all new neighbors is this: If you have a maintenance request, do not tell the office, it will take forever to be addressed, instead goto the same website you pay your rent to, and file a maintenance request online. This way Corporate sees, and keeps records of all request you make, and how quick they are resolved. Filing a request online usually gets addressed the next day instead of weeks or pestering the office. One last thing, some people here are on sections 8 paying very low rent to full rent of $865/m for a 2/1 apartment as I pay.
