Stay away from this place
April 1, 2018You will regret if you move to this apartment. You will encounter police most days and nights in the complex coz someone is creating a big trouble. Keep your family safe by staying away from this place. Now about apt itself, its a trash. Laundry doesnot work, gym- go and see urself, you will puke inside. Infestation of pest everywhere. Being a soldier I have moved to 100 different apartments but this one falls in my worst nightmare. Just giving y’ll little suggestion, stay away and save your ...money. They won’t give ur deposit which is a month worth of rent and will bill you additional charges to make up their deficit. Do more research and live happy somewhere else...Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great Value & Location
June 5, 2017Moved here for Fort Hood (of course) and it fits what my husband and I need perfectly. There are a couple of floorplans, but they're def all cheaper than a lot of other places in town, and it's a straight shot up Fort Hood Street to post, without being one of the super sketchy complexes nearer central Killeen or north of 190. The pet deposit is also super reasonable, no pet monthly rent or anthing!Review from Apartments.com
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.
May 3, 2016This was honestly the WORST apartment complex I've ever lived in. If I could give it negative 5 stars I would. It was the worst experience as far as management goes and despite all of the terrible reviews on other websites they're still somehow in business. Management here is appalling. They're some of the nastiest human beings I've had the displeasure of coming into contact with. The "gym" is the biggest joke I've ever seen. It has three machines and none of them work. The pool is gross. I feel ...like I'd get a disease if I stepped foot in it. "Assigned Parking"? Yeah right. Some people park wherever they want and nothing is done about it. But when you park in a different spot because someone else is in yours, you're getting yelled at by another tenant. The laundry facility that only takes quarters has stolen so much from me because they never worked. It takes paying it 3 times to dry a load of laundry. And apparently when their entire complex is infested with roaches it is the tenants responsibility to pay for an exterminator. Apparently when you move out its your responsibility to change light bulbs, hire an exterminator, pay to have the carpet cleaned and replace air filters. Really? Give me a break. That's what my security deposit is for if there are any "damages" to the property (which there wasn't). Also, someone from management decided to try to enter our apartment without a 24 hour notice and it most certainly was not an emergency, so that is illegal. My husband and I were charged so many unnecessary charges when we moved out and we are still being harassed for money even though we payed the month in full (when we only lived there for a week during that month), and cleaned the apartment fully when we left. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT move into this place. You will be conned and quite frankly this apartment complex should've been shut down a long time ago.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Lived Here!
September 14, 2015I lived here for about a year and loved it! The Staff was friendly and always eager to help you out! The apartments have a lot of square footage and offer so much for the monthly rent! I would recommend these apartments to anyone that is living on a budget and would like the most "bang" for the "buck", so to speak! They are pet friendly at an affordable price compared to others in the area. I definitely would live here again. Thank you Ashton Park for not just an apartment but a place I can ...call home, where you always remember me and your willingness to help me out, when I needed help!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Apt. 4-116
August 22, 2015I chose four of five stars because it's been an overall good experience. I am 22 years old and have been living on my own since the summer of my senior year of high school. Every apartment I've lived in gives me more experience into what exactly I need in an apartment than what I want. I have a dog so it's a little harder to find places that allow animals. The Ashton Park Apartments (where I currently reside) could use some improvements. The main office has very friendly employees and is more ...organized than when I first moved in. The amenities are swimming pool, 24hr fitness center, Basketball and Tennis court, assigned and covered parking, nice updated kitchens, walk in closets, and it has two on-site laundry centers. The clothing center they offer on-site is very offered able compared to most laundry mats in my area. The closets are decent sizes and allows a lot of storage space also. The pool seems to be kept up with (I haven't used the pool just looks decent). I still have no idea where the gym is, that's ok because I wouldn't use it even if the office told.the 24hr Maintanence they offer isn't as speedy as I would like but my mother taught me patience so even though they may not come when you want them to; they still get the job done. My main problem is the continues policy changes with out notice which affects you financially and no one likes their budget messed with. I would choose to live at The Ashton Park Apartments again because of their friendliness, affordability, and their willingness to help out a risedent!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
