Bad experience
May 6, 2024They sent an email about painting the parking spots in 2 days. Without any other sort of notice such as a txt, they started towing 20 plus cars all in one morning. I was out of town and there was no way that I could've moved my car. Residents are angry and rightfully so... this cost me $350. I expressed my frustration and have yet to hear back from the management. Just horrible...Property Manager Responded

Not great experience
January 21, 2024Many hidden charges, including additional and mandatory cable and internet package. Also will charge fees on exit that they will chalk up to beyond wear and tear. After living there 5 years, they levied a $150 fee for a 5 min job to touch up the wall with some paint.Property Manager Responded

Horrible management problems
November 9, 2023It's incredible. The previous management was bad… When I first moved in they just handed me the keys. There was so initial walk-through to check the condition of the apartment together and sign, or any instructions on how to set up anything at home. Master bedroom window was broken and cracked open, the unit itself looked like it was never fully cleaned, so I had to hire my own cleaner to make it liveable. The new management BH is so much worse ... they respond to everything late. I have been ...suffering from banging and stomping noise from the upstairs neighbors every single day, especially around midnight. They told me numerous time that it was been addressed and fixed, but it gets worse every day. My wife is trying to get pregnant, and this situation has actually affected us in significant ways. She is having trouble sleeping, as the upstairs neighbor always keeps her up or wakes her up. I know the management can't control 100% the actions of our neighbor. So we have asked kindly if we can give a 3 months notice for them to find a new tenant and leave just 2 months shy from our full contract commitment, which to me I think we are also being very reasonable letting them know early and enduring those extra months so that we don't affect their business. After emailing them via 3-4 different outlets to reach them, they haven't written a single reply either considering or acknowledging my request so that we can at least have a conversation about this problem. After months of trying to figure this out, I’ve finally received the regional managers email. I have sent her 3 different emails in the last few weeks and still haven’t heard anything back. Avoid at ALL Costs
September 28, 2023Once this place was taken over by the new management company and was no longer an Elysian property, everything went downhill. Common areas are filthy, amenities are constantly unavailable, the rules are unenforced, pest control seems to be nonexistent and the service is unbelievably poor. Before you sign a lease, go for yourself and look at parts of the building other than those that are shown on the tours and ask yourself whether living here warrants the amount of rent charged. Despite all the ...negatives, the new ownership has the gall to raise both the base rent and the hundreds of dollars in hidden fees which are cunningly separated from the rent rates advertised. This place is the embodiment of everything that is wrong with landlords today and only cares to suck every penny out of its residents while maximizing profit. It’s a shame because I would have recommended these apartments, with some caveats, had the old management still been in charge. As it stands, however, you should look to live anywhere else and avoid giving Aster Blue Diamond your money at all costs.Property Manager Responded

Just don’t do it
September 13, 2023If you see any good reviews, they are prior to new management! Since this place was bought out, it has been absolutely awful. The quality of living has gone down tremendously. The only thing nice about these apartments are how modern and nice day they are inside. Need to speak to a manager? Well, this one’s never available and you have to make an appointment days out ahead of time, Not to mention her blinds are always shut because she’s just so busy to talk to anyone that lives here. Leasing ...manager never knows anything and has an attitude when you question her answers (pro tip, if you don’t know the answer to a question, don’t make one up). Front desk girls are extremely RUDE and unhelpful. Maintenance was great until Dom left. Hallways are always dirty, cockroaches, and grasshoppers all over the floor. They used to have pest control every Wednesday and since taking over I’ve only seen them once when requested. They send out emails threatening to fine and handle rowdy and unclean Tenants and guests but absolutely never follow through. Not to mention, doors and gates are always broken so literally anyone can just walk and do whatever they please. July 21, 2023I lived here from June 2022 to June 2023 and it is a horrible place, there were bugs in the hallways, the elevator was broken, no one ever picked up dog poop, and they charged you for everything when you move out. I had carpets cleaned and place professionally cleaned and paid a $125 cleaning fee when I moved in and they charged me another $535 on top of that. Save your money and find another place. Do not live here, you will regret it
February 13, 2023Worst apartment living experience of my life. Do not live here. Not even close to the living standards one would expect from a reputable and expensive brand of "luxury living" apartments. Management has total disregard for the wellbeing of its tenants, physically and mentally, which is borderline negligence. Security is unresponsive (literally goes to voicemail sometimes) when you are paying for 24/7 security. When security does answer the phone, they obviously do nothing to ameliorate the ...situation because I am constantly calling about noise complaints in the middle of the night that do not get addressed properly. In addition to noise complaints about neighbors, the first few weeks in my new apartment I was woken to banging on my door by an angry stranger (who was likely looking for the previous tenant) not once but two different occasions. I called security multiple times with no answer and was concerned for my safety as it was the middle of the night and I am a single woman living alone. Cleanliness is also a major issue; I documented photos of dog poop in the main hallway outside an elevator that remained for 6 days. Not only is that disgusting, it's also a huge health violation.
