Thin ceilings…if you value sleep then live elsewhere.
March 12, 2022The facilities are nice and the front office staff are courteous and pleasant. However, STAY AWAY FROM THESE APARTMENTS if you value sleep. It is midnight right now and my upstairs neighbors are stomping around like they are running a marathon. It shakes the ceilings in my apartment. No one can sleep through this loud noise. I tried to move to the top floor, but once you sign the lease they really don’t care how miserable you are here. This is the worst place I have ever lived just on the noise ...alone. April 26, 2019I lived at Aura for 18-months. The staff is amazing! Everyone is professional and always willing to accommodate you in a friendly and professional manner. The maintenance team is the best. Prompt and friendly all the time. The complex is very quiet and well maintained. You can’t beat the location either. Great Place, Great Location, Great People!
October 19, 2018Living here at Aura was probably the best move that I could have made. I 'love' my spacious apartment. There is so much closet space that previous places I lived lacked. If ever there are any issues in my apartment, maintenance is there in the most timely manner and efficient. The maintenance guys are awesome. When entering in and out of the building during the day, I am 'always' greeted with smiles and super friendly conversations from the staff. I feel very comfortable and safe here at Aura. ...And, as for the location, it can't be beat! For someone like myself who loves to shop, I can walk to all the stores. Best Buys, BedBathandBeyond, Target, Pier1, Barnes and Noble, Harris Teeter, and not to mention the numerous restaurants and more. Best apartment Building I've been a part of!!
April 4, 2018All in all my experience was awesome. I definitely did not want to move. Had to move for work. The office staff is amazing. Both Ashley's rock!! Maintenance staff was amazing. Shout out to Steve! Great Pool area, Gym and club house. Almost every month there's something planned for all residence at the club house. Last month was bingo and paint night is coming up in April. Not the best
September 7, 2016Big, new and nice location. maintenance guys are great. management is not that great and non responding. I would strongly recommend to check out other properties around before you move in. There are very nice and excellent properties around, which I learned after i moved in. I am not against moving to Aura. If I can go back in past, I would not move to Aura.Review from Apartments.com
Aura is not the best, it is the worst in terms of maintaining their end of the agreement.
August 26, 2015I would have given it a ZERO if there was a ZERO. I've lived here for three years and this past year, this building has been run to the ground and ABSOLUTELY not been taken care of... one thing after another. The grills have not worked all Summer. "Parts are always on order". They are VIKING Grills... tons of them in the US.. what's the hold up and after a summer of 200 plus residents without one, how about replacing them or providing alternates. Second, the "security" that we allegedly have ...is a "secure" building where someone cannot walk in off the street. Not true, that was out over a month ago and no progress has been made to restore it. The common areas are now locked, yet other amenities that we cannot have because they can't maintain their building. Bonaventure has created a "worthless" gem right in the heart of Greenbrier. Don't move here. Go to another place, it has to be better. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance staff who works non-stop to keep the area nice and repair anything they have the power to do so.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Safe and friendly area
August 16, 2015The Aura Apartments have felt like a home to us so far. Before we moved here, we felt like our previous place wasn't welcoming. We love all of the amenities and friendly staff that work in the rental office. If we ever have any questions or need something fixed, they are fast and efficient. Aura is the Best!
August 14, 2015Simply the best in Chesapeake, Va. May be pricey for some but it's well worth it. Its cometely secure and in the heart of Chesapeake. Location is walking distance from the mall and other retail shops. The club house is directly in my building, the main building. Its setup real nice. Flat acreen tv's , pool tables, a bar, game system and etc. You can even rent it out for an evening for a little over a $100. Cant beet that at all. Theres a 24 hour gym also and not a cheap one; they actaully ...invested money into the gym. The pool is just fabulous. Its like something you see at a resort. Words cant express how beautiful it is. They even have grills at pool side that you can use. The apartments are self explanatory. As soon as you walk in, you step on hardwood flooring. The kitchen setup is amazing. Have granite tops, hardwood flooring, stainless appliances and etc. the cabinets look like the cabinets you see on TV shows that cost thousands of dollars. The bathrooms are marvelous. Lovely marble tops and very spacious. The bath tub is huge and I only have a 1 bed 1 bath unit, so i can imagine how larger units are. This place is really up to date here. My bedroom is nice as well. Dont need much because its just my wife and I, but it does us justice. The living room is good as well. Very spacious. Its wide open and you have room to move freely. My balcony over looks the pool. Its a beautiful site to see. Overall, this place is a beauty. You get what you pay for. Its in a great location, its secure and safe. It's very family oriented.
