Bugs, rude neighbors, terrible management
July 16, 2023The good: Big apartment, washer/dryer included. Relatively quick maintenance and always had parking available. Very quiet and lots of birds and trees everywhere. The pool is nice too. The bad: This apartment had serious bug issues. I’ve never experienced these problems at any other apartment I’ve lived at. Stink bugs, silverfish, spiders, pretty much anything. They came from the windows even when they were closed and the bathroom fan in the ceiling. We could never open the windows because so ...many bugs would come in. Management didn’t do anything because they said our windows weren’t sealed from using portable ACs, so it wasn’t their problem. My unit specifically had an awful smell the entirety of us living there, from the day I moved in. I’m not sure if it was cigarette smoke, or mildew, or both, but I could never get rid of it. Another problem with this apartment is how involved all the other residents are in your life. People have nothing to do all day, so they report to the manager every single thing you do. Make sure you don’t have guests over, because they will count exactly how many nights they’ve been there and report it to management. We were told we threw away too much trash at move out (it was all in bags, no furniture). We never threw parties, never smoked, never played loud music etc but always got knocks from the neighbors, even when we were just making dinner at 8 pm. The manager was extremely rude to us throughout living here. It seemed like we never got the benefit of the doubt because we are young. If you want really involved management and neighbors, this place is for you. But if you want to live without having every action reported to the manager, look elsewhere.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
