  • Stay away from them if you value your time and money!!

    I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Autumn Park Apartments and its management. I rented an apartment in 2016 - 2023, and the handling of my security deposit has been a nightmare. After moving out, they sent my security deposit check in April 2024, but I was not home when it was delivered, and USPS returned it to the sender. Despite multiple follow-ups with the management team, they failed to take any responsibility or action. The check was lost, and I was repeatedly told I’d need to ...
    wait for it to be returned before they would issue a new one. I even agreed to have a new check issued with a $35 fee deducted, yet months have passed, and I still haven't received it. For nearly **6 months**, I’ve called weekly and visited their office, only to receive excuses and unhelpful responses, saying “we are at the MERCY OF FIELDSTONE( the owner/landlord based in Nj) We can’t do anything about it. “The level of communication and service is unacceptable. This ongoing situation has caused immense stress, and I would not recommend renting here unless you're prepared for serious issues with getting your security deposit back. Their unprofessional handling of my security deposit and lack of concern for tenants has been deeply frustrating. **Avoid this place if you value good customer service and proper handling of your money.**

  • Nice place to call home

    Lived here for several years now. Not as updated as some of the newer properties in the area, but it feels like home. Staff is very nice, and any maintenance issues have been taken of quickly.

  • Greedy People, worst move out experience

    Although the Headline explains, I will start on a positive note. The Apartment built and design is nice and the locality is nice too . We enjoyed living here for two years. falls in the Parkland school district and good schools are at walkable distance.   but... beware of the staff, when you move in they will make you believe that everything is well maintained, nice and clean but when you move out little things will become a big problem because they have security deposits which they never want ...
    to refund and charge as many penalties as possible. always take pictures when you move in. Worst Maintenance .... They believe more on patch work instead of permanent fixes. their policy is, even if you stay for 20-30 years they will not replace the carpet no matter how bad shape it is in. They have charged a penalty for a throw-away carpet to me and the previous tenant. They didn't even bother about the leaking roof when we complained. For the apartment key and FOB they charged me $350 which I dropped in their key box but they say they didn't find them. so always handover keys in-person and take a selfie.

  • A Great Place to Live

    My fiancé and I have lived here for almost 6 years and we love it! The apartment layout with the high ceilings is very roomy and comfortable. The Clubhouse, Fitness Center, Swimming Pool and Grounds are very well kept and enjoyable. They maintenance team is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional.   • Maintenance is the worst!

    Living here for the past 11 years has been a mixed bag. Some aspects of the apartment are nice. Maintenance, however, is the worst! They don't know what they are doing, they are full of excuses every time you need them, and they are constantly being let go due to bad work. The office also does not respond back to tenants. They don't care about you as a tenant. The maintenance manager Drew is terrible at his job. He serves one purpose, to tell you there is nothing more he is willing to do for you, ...

  • I love my apartment, but...

    I've lived at Autumn Park since 2015, and have been very happy. I wish they would've opened the pool this year, but I understand why they didn't. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a alot of space.

  • Horrible!

    I've lived in the complex for a couple of months and my experience could not have been worse. First, the apartment was not painted, the walls, fans and carpet were dusty and dirty and the balcony also needs to be fixed. I have spoken to the office and the maintenance guy and I am still waiting for them to clean at least the disgusting carpet. Really bad experience indeed!

  • Beautiful Property -- but problematic!

    We've lived here almost three months now, and while the apartments and grounds are lovely, we find that the sanitation services listed in the brochure leave something to be desired. We find we must load all our garbage into our personal vehicles and transport to a trash compactor located on the other side of the complex. There are no dumpsters near the apartments, and no trash pickup at our doors. This has created quite a hardship for us, as well as unsanitary conditions transporting trash in ...

  • Quiet, but somewhat dated with huge lease break fees

    Lived here for a little over a year. Biggest plus is that the neighborhood is extremely quiet. Never heard our neighbors and actually only met the couple below us. The layouts are nice but the carpets and kitchens are getting outdated. Carpet was completely stained when moved in. We left because my husband got a promotion and we had to break our lease and move. Be careful because breaking your lease will cost you 2.5 x your monthly rent.

    Autumn Park offers a wealth of positive attributes in an apartment complex. My second floor apartment has a private entrance,a full sized washer/dryer in the utility room,central air and even a built in security alarm. I was a home owner for more than 20 years and was apprehensive about apartment living,especially noise. It's very quiet here. I never hear the neighbors (and I'm in a "middle" apartment).     it almost appears I'm living in the country and have a great deal of privacy to boot. In the summer the trees create shade for my place,in the winter when the branches are bare the sunlight streams through warming my apartment. The one bedroom I occupy provides plenty enough space so I don't feel cramped(the bathroom is especially large for a one bedroom apartment) but not too much space for a senior citizen to have to clean and care for. The parking is plentiful,the snow removal remarkably fast and well done. The outdoor environment (lawn,trees, shrubbery,etc.) is beautifully well maintained. The few issues I've had that required the maintenance crew to visit my place were handled quickly and professionally. Any fears I had about relocating from a house to an apartment were almost immediately put to rest by living here at Autumn Park. And my cat loves it here too.
