Cockroach problems
March 10, 2023I have been living here for a year, it is affordable for its location in the city, spacious and near at my work. The management is better now, they will renovate the parking and other rooms, I can manage the noise from some neighbors and cars outside but what I cant deal with are cockroaches everywhere and bugs..that is why I am moving for 300 bucks more for an apartment that gives you peace of mind and cleanlinessReview from Apartments.com

Perfect location, close to everything and great views
January 10, 2018We currently have a new management company and new name, but so far the changes have been great. The team is super nice, I love the fitness room and computer lounge, it's a great place to chill or hang out when I don't want to lounge in my apartment. Close to work and all the great restaurants. September 17, 2015We were impressed right away looking at the apartments that the Maynard had available for rent in comparison to the others in the area (midtown, downtown) as far as space and cost. The FREE parking, (yes, free, some of the places we looked at wanted anywhere from $30-70 per person per month, ouch!) pool, gym and laundry on site were just an added bonus that sealed the deal for us. Also the security guard at night helped with uneasiness we may have had about the neighborhood. We were moving from ...out of state and weren't sure how safe alot of the neighborhoods were in Memphis. Upon moving in, there were a couple of maintenance issues in our apartment and not only did they get fixed right away, the guy working maintenance was polite and friendly. The neighborhood has almost everything we need right down on Union Ave, and we are finding our way around the city and realizing how close this building is to Beale Street, Cooper Young, Overton Park, ect. The leasing staff is friendly and is willing to answer any questions that we had about the apartment or the area. The only downside to this building that I can see for other people is that they might have an issue with the hospital across the street because of the noise sometimes. We don't hear much, our balcony faces the back of the building, so it is quiet for us. Overall, we are really impressed with the Maynard and love living here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
