The complex is good but certain areas needs improvements
November 1, 2024I live in building 14 and the parking lot is always crowded with vehicles that doesn’t belong there. Hallways always dirty from other residents leaving their trash in the hallway, parking lot needs replaced with lines so cars can park correctly, maintenance guys not checking areas where needs to be cleaned and they do half way jobs when you put in a work order.prime example my apartment bathroom needs a tub replaced floors pulled up cause there’s a leak in the apartment underneath me where they ...installed a breaker to my tub, patio door lock in broken when I requested a new lock now my patio screen door is broken now from the wind blowing it off causing the screen to come off. And last but leasing cigarettes butts all over the front door area in which I’m always cleaning up from other residents. Overall it’s a good place to stay in could use a couple tweaks around the complex area far as staying clean but that starts with the residents first.Property Manager Responded

Decent for short term stay
November 3, 2024I have been living here for over 2 years and haven't had any major issues. It's a decent place to live if you need short term staying. Maintenance is usually good at their jobs and they keep up with changing the furnace filter. The pool is nice but usually full, and I wish there was a safer walking path. I wouldn't stay here for long as it's such a small apartment and you can easily hear your neighbors.Property Manager Responded

Decent
November 1, 2024We have lived here for a year, and our unit definitely is a little run down but not awful. Our building is pretty quiet and we have had no issues with safety concerns since we’ve been here. In our the internet upgrade in the spring has solved a lot of our internet issues that we were having. Maintenance is always friendly and polite when they come, I do think that there are some short cuts taken instead of actually replacing things. Our closet doors are almost all off the tracks, maintenance has ...come and “fixed” them, but the tracks need to be replaced so they just pop back out. The office staff is always helpful. Overall we have enjoyed living here. We do wish they would repaint the lines in the parking lots though.Property Manager Responded

terrible internet service
October 12, 2023The internet service offered is terrible. For some months now the internet has been dropping out every night. There aren't many alternative options for internet service here. I have also had some apartment maintenance that wasn't completed very well.Property Manager Responded

Another greedy landlord. Surprise.
June 22, 20233 years here. Poorly managed buildings, minimal staff, maintenance will close work orders without ever coming to fix. Internet is unreliable and unstable. Often off for hours and days at a time. No comcast here, renters are forced to use “beacon hill internet”, which is a cheap sever right in the building. You will not be able to work from home if you live here. Guaranteed. Extremely high rental increases, with no improvements in return. Bathroom they left for me is so stained and run down that ...I’m truly embarrassed to have guests over. They really do not care if your fixtures are trash and the building is crumbling. If you enjoy suffering so a multimillionaire can squeeze every drop of joy and dignity out of you, then this is the place for you.Property Manager Responded

Truly a Bad Experience
October 13, 2020ISP line) since the beginning. I called tech support going on 15 times now. I have begged and pleaded. They acknowledge the issue but absolutely refuse to do any action. They won't even tell me "no, we wont fix it". They just ignore me. I have walked into the front office and talked with them. They have said "a tech will be out to help you" repeatedly, but I have never once seen nor heard a tech. I have begged, pleaded, offered to pay, whatever - just to fix my internet. This has been one of ...the worst experiences with a customer support with any company I have ever had. I have had FAR better experiences with Comcast than this place. COMCAST! I can take rejection, or preferably help, but flat out ignoring me (to my face even, not just over the phone) is really dejecting. I have not been rude, demanding, or any negative disposition. I truly don't understand why they seem to ignore me. Ignoring the internet, when I first moved in my shower did not have a head. The apartment-wide laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers. but 1 of the washers has been out of service for over 5 months now. The water itself has rust (orange tint?) to it. I am referring to all the water, shower, sink, bathroom. I only drink bottled water. The positives: The price is cheap compared to other areas. Overall: If you manage to snag an apartment that has zero issues, you will be glad you rented. However, my experience has been the exact opposite. Unsafe Water & Violence
February 4, 20201) The water is contaminated with high levels of Radium. Be prepared to buy countless gallons of drinking water from the grocery store. 2) Gun violence is a yearly occurrence on the property. 3) The price is a great value if you can accept the above points.Property Manager Responded

September 30, 2019I am getting concerned that Beacon Hill Apartments do not care about the safety of their tenants. Our parking lot light in front of our building has been out for over a month. Numerous people have reported it but it seems that nothing is being done. We are not the only parking lot light out. There are others. I really do love my apartment, but this is a real concern for the tenants if safety is not a priority. The last time our light was out I had my tires flattened and other vehicles were ...vandalized. Too bad this isn't their priority because the apartments are really nice and well priced. But, definitely not worth it if you have to worry about safety just walking to you car or taking your dog out.Property Manager Responded
