Would not recommend
May 17, 2024Where do I start? The office staff is so hot and cold. I’m not sure if I’m going to be met with someone experienced and rude or inexperienced and lost. I’m assuming the property manager is new to this profession because he has very poor people skills. They make mistakes and try to cover their tracks instead of taking accountability. There’s a roach problem. I spent about $40 just on pest control (spray, bombs, roach motels, boric acid) upon move in. But there’s clearly an infestation they aren’t ...treating. Communication is painful. It’s like pulling teeth getting a prompt answer or a straight one for that matter. Don’t try to call them on the mistakes they make (no matter how respectful you are) they will make it seem as though you are the problem. I wish I never came here it’s been a few months and not one thing has turned out positive.Property Manager Responded

Disgusting looking
February 7, 2024Property manager is unprofessional and rude. Whole complex looks as if the least amount is being spent to maintain the property. Notice how they don’t show pictures of the property and only the front of one newly painted building?Property Manager Responded

Never fix anything
August 26, 2018I currently live here, pay my rent on time, and don't cause problems... my roof has been leaking for months, there's a hole under my front door where the roaches just walk in, and now half of my apartment has little to no power. There is never any answer on the emergency maintenance number and ROBERT the office "manager" never follows up or fixes what he says he will. I now have to drive all the way to downtown Tampa to pay my rent to the courthouse in hopes they'll fix all these issues. very dissappointed
August 7, 2018I moved into these apartments less than a month ago , my main complaint is the fact that the ac is not cooling my apartment off the way it should. These apartments are very old and I understand that but I'm sure no one in that office goes home to their place and the thermostat is set at 72 degrees but the temperature is actually 85 degrees. This is really ridiculous I have been complaining since the day I moved in, the only solution they can up with is to buy ceiling fans no that's not going ...to do anything but run my electric bill up. I have never had to deal with a company like this half the time they don't answer their phones you have to walk to the office. The corporate office don't answer their phone either even after you leave messages they don't return your call. I wanted to give this place the benefit of doubt but dealing with this wow...Oh also the dumpster on my side is always over flown although I have to give it to the ground people their always out there cleaning other people crap. July 26, 2017In short: This is sub par housing in a crime ridden area. You will not get your security deposit back, your apartment will be flooded, you will be harassed by security, and your belongings will not be safe. I had the unfortunate experience of living here for 7 months from May to December 2016. First of all, the area. There are literally gunshot detectors lining 15th street. This is a high crime area to say the least. Expect broken glass in the parking lot, shopping carts flipped over ...on the side of the street, and to be woken up in the middle of the night by yelling or police sirens. When moving in I had an immediate roach problem and it took nearly 2 weeks to get pest control to spray. Maintenance staff are difficult to get a hold of. They also apparently think its acceptable to open your door with a master key and walk right into your apartment! The "security" staff aren't much better. I was once yelled at for "loitering" in the parking lot after picking up some groceries. The office staff seem to be completely changed every few months. This makes it impossible the follow up with issues because the new staff don't know you or what you came in last time for. Issues in billing or even maintenance can take weeks and even months to resolve. If you actually get anything sorted out consider yourself lucky. Ive been waiting 8 MONTHS for my security deposit. I called the office and followed up multiple times in person, then they told me to call corporate. I still haven't gotten a response from the accountant that was suppose to handle my situation. Worst of all, was the flooding situation. The water heater belonging to the apartment above me broke and my downstairs apartment was flooded with 5 inches of water. After contacting the office multiple times that day I literally had to drag the office lady out to my apartment before she could wrap her head around the words "MY APARTMENT IS FLOODED". She told me to rent a hotel room for the night and bella mar would reimburse me the amount on the receipt. I haven't seen a dime and that was 10 months ago. Even after the flooding was fixed, for weeks there was a slow leak from the above floor. The apartment was always humid and the carpet remained soaked. The fans they put in to dry the carpet ran for over a week and ran up my electric bill. The walls remained soft and wet for some time. The apartment continued to smell like chlorine till the day I moved out.Property Manager Responded

Bad, just.. bad.
June 1, 2017If you are new to Tampa like I was when I moved in here, just know this is a bad area. Gun shots and fights all the time. Trash everywhere, management changes all the time, people just don't care here. Seems to have a lot of traffic in and out, so people that don't even have to live here are messing the place up. Interesting that all this happens and I still get interrogated by the "security" if I walk to my mailbox at night.. My windows were smashed randomly, as were the other people's on the ...bottom floor of my building. Have had to call the cops because a man was pounding on the door cussing at me telling me to let him in, and I have no idea who it could have been. I think the new management comes in with the intention to make things better but it is impossible and they give up and act constantly frustrated. Recently, they painted the outsides black and grey so it is fit to look like the prison it should be. I realize most people only bother to leave reviews if they had a bad experience, but if you could find one person who had a nice experience here (that is not obviously the company leaving itself good reviews) I would be shocked.
