December 16, 2024there was a shootout (not the first time) in the back of the complex and someone passed away. The front gate has been down since February (it is now December). Homeless people roam around daily- in the dumpsters, in the laundry facilities.Review from Apartments.com

August 21, 2023Staff is GREAT! Roberto and Selena are awesome and always accommodating. Maintenance is quick to respond, and they keep the complex clean. I have been here for almost a year and I will definitely be renewing my lease. When my AC went out they not only gave me a window unit but a portable one as well while the repaired the central AC. Pool is beautiful and clean. I do love it here and am so happy to call Birch my home.Property Manager Responded

DON'T RENT HERE
February 2, 2023I moved out on 1/1/23. I paid $150 deposit. When i moved out i got a notice saying I owed 56.00. The website showed I owed it but had been credited from the deposit showing they owe me 76.00. I called them repeatedly, they never answer the phone. I emailed Richard and the main email address repeatedly and they never returned my emails. Today, 2/2/23 I get a call from a credit agency! I was placed in collections! I have an almost perfect credit score and these "people" have sent me to collections ...even though "THEY" owe me money. They didn't have a problem calling me when they wanted me to resign my lease. This place is disgusting! I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The year I leased there I stayed other places because I couldn't stand the smell. Other tenants were peeing right outside my door. They smoked and partied by the stairs right outside my apartment. A new company bought them out and they are no better than the last. DON'T RENT THERE!!Property Manager Responded

Poor staff
April 13, 2022The apartments were recently transitioned to new Management company and some of the Front Office staff is just like the previous Management company especially when dealing with Yvonne and Vanessa whenever you have a concern it seems that these really are not listening to your concerns, it’s more like hurry up and finish talking so I can do something more important. Their customer service is less than desirable and they make you feel like the fact that you are a resident is not their concern nor ...do they care whether you are a resident out or not.Property Manager Responded

September 16, 2018I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. My car has been broken in to and for some reason the cameras wasn't working. The people out here let their dogs poop anywhere and don't clean up after. I've had my car towed in the so called visitors parking, if you don't pay 5$ per night you have to park on the side of the road which is unsafe for you and your car. Pretty much you can't have visitors! Luckily my lease is over in 3 months or I would just pay to break my lease!Review from Apartments.com
Horrible Experience!
August 17, 2018Based on my experience, these are the worst. Not worth anyone’s time and money. Everything about this place is horrible. Anytime you conjure up false reports and accusations and then turn around throwing on someone’s credit report is not unacceptable. That’s low and dirty on so many levels. I’m regretting it now and paying for it as well. Trust me when I say this, don’t do it. It’s not worth it. It would be best to look elsewhere.Review from Apartments.com
Excellent Staff and Beautiful Complex
June 20, 2018I have had a fear of moving to a different state/city, but I believe my experience at Twelve 6 Ten at The Park subsided my fears. I saw maintenance left and right doing their jobs and maintaining the beauty of the complex. It is nice to see a change of atmosphere in comparison to Louisiana. Seeing more people of color with jobs/opportunities is amazing, so I automatically felt comfortable in the environment. The actual main building was pristine and gorgeous and the community assistant (Laura) ...was fantastic. I didn't feel judged or out of place when speaking with her. I felt comfortable. The surrounding complexes' representatives could learn a thing or two from her. I am not a resident but she explained exactly what I needed and I am applying as soon as I submit this wonderful review. She allowed us to see a room and it was a nice apartment, even though it wasn't a renovated one. I will be applying and hopefully I will get approved. You will absolutely LOVE the surrounding area. There's a Sam's Club and Fry's Electronics right behind the complex, and there's a thrift shop, Walgreens, work out facility (there's also a workout center at the aprtment), a Lowe's and many other amazing areas to shop and eat. Cheap rent is not worth it, look elsewhere!
August 28, 2017I'll be brief. The Apartments are dirty, there is a serious problem with roaches (I've never seen an issue like this in other apartments). They do not fix problems in the units (I had a bad thermostat in the refrigerator and the shower regulator was bad, so on a daily basis my shower temperature would fluctuate between cold and scalding hot). The pool remained closed until June. The tenants can be loud and rowdy in the hallways, including screaming on occasion. There is no real overnight guest ...parking unless you want to pay $5 a night, and the guest has to show up at the office during business hours with their licence and proof of insurance to even get that option. You can also tell a lot about an apartment complex by how they treat you once you move out. I opted for the refundable cash deposit when I moved in, and since moving out in early July they have dodged all of my attempts at communication (Email, Phone Calls, Messages, calling Wellington directly, etc.). I still have not been called back and there is no information on when and how I will receive my deposit back and it's about to be September. Very disappointed in the entire experience. Since being here alarm systems have been intalled in each apt. And we have valet trash service.
