Bed Bug Bonanza
January 5, 2022I lived there from 2016-2018. When you pull into the place, I lived on that large tower to the right, on the 5th floor. Had a massive bed bug issue for a month. They refused to help. Said it wasn’t their fault. So basically we got into some arguments and they brought into my apartment some massive heater to kill the bedbugs. Interesting that they had this machine ready in their office because they knew they had that problem. Took them 2-3 tries to kill them all. Meanwhile you have to leave your ...apartment each time they do that for like 10 hours. I would NEVER recommend that place.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Bad owner. Terrible maintenance people
May 23, 2020Constantly had ants in our shower and every time we ran dishwasher. Knew a couple people who had bedbugs.Review from Apartments.com
Be AWARE
January 28, 2020When an applicant with a 750+ FICO score, very good renting history and with an excellent job, has the application denied, it couldn't stop you from thinking that one "last available" apartment could produce quick money from all those rejected applications. A bad taste left about the people running the place after the experience.Review from Apartments.com
False Advertising
July 16, 2019The apartment shown in the pictures for Bishop Park are of a "Deluxe" apartment. The standard apartment looks nothing like this. I was shown an apartment not too long ago, and was disgusted. Immediate odor when the door was opened. molding was peeling. Grey-ish marks on the walls, and the kitchen had signs of mold in it. the foyer, pool, gym, etc are renovated, but the apartments are a dump unless you get a "deluxe".Review from Apartments.com
Get what you pay for
June 9, 2017Living here has been interesting. Really it comes down to you get what you pay for. Getting the apartment was easy, and they even accommodated an immediate move in. However, that seemed to be the lure into some less than positive experiences. It first started with a number of service requests that did not get completed after numerous visits. What was the most disturbing is the main issue of the entry door not being any type of secured, as the door itself is bent and is not sealed whatsoever. More ...recently, they just completed the installation of new speed reduction devices all across the driveways. They are spaced very close to one another, taking up parking spots, and starting to cause damage to my car. A bit overkill. Overall, its good if you need an immediate place to live, but realize that some creature comforts (like not hearing what the neighbor is doing) and central A/C are not part of the package to start with.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
stabbed tire
March 13, 2017My tire was stabbed in broad daylight on a recent visit to tour/be shown available suites. This upsets me most because Bishop Park was my former home for a good 6 years. I left to finish school and had planned on returning right after. Towards the end, loud, trying to get into your business type of neighbors moved in. I did my best to get along with them since this was my home. I knew it was a red flag right away as they had moved out of one building in the very same complex and into mine. ...I was able to put up with the loud music and trafficking with no complaints. Just before moving out, new loud neighbors moved in downstairs, I heard conversations coming up through my floor about thongs etc. When I called in hopes to be encouraged that my former home was still safe, a rude harsh woman would not let me get a word in edgewise. I loved this place, wanted to come back, but who needs the hassle of having to watch your back in your own home.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
somebody stabbed my tire in broad daylight on a recent while being shown suite options
March 13, 2017Somebody stabbed my tire in broad daylight This was my home for a good 6 years and I loved it. Towards the end, I noticed more and more loud type of neighbors moving in with a lot of trafficking. I did my best to get along with them since this was my home, but I knew it was a red flag when considering that they had moved from one building in the complex to mine. Just upon moving out I noticed that more loud neighbors were moving in, I could hear blaring music through the walls of my above ...mentioned neighbors, and loud conversations about thongs etc. coming up through the floor below. I continued to maintain a positive attitude toward my home at Bishop Park, the maintenance service, plow service and exterminator service were always exceptional. It was beautiful and spacious with the sunlight pouring in on the inside. I still miss it. I planned to move back once I finished school, and made a recent visit, was shown a suite that I loved and was excited about, by a beautiful kind woman of the staff. Somebody stabbed my tire in broad daylight in the parking lot. We examined the tire, and it was unquestionable. Still I wish I could move back there, but who needs to the headache of having to watch their back in their own home. It bears no reflection upon Bishop Park to me, I still uphold all the wonderful things about the staff and beauty of the complex. I just hope they would pursue this type of conduct, and keep it as beautiful as it has always been until recent years. When I called the office on the day my tire was stabbed, a rude harsh woman, not the woman who showed me the suite who was far more classy, was yelling abruptly on the phone with me. Instead of pursuing the incident and keeping the place safe, she told me maybe the place wasn't for me, and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. She was the brunette harsh toned woman working in the office.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Terrible Place To Live
September 15, 2016First off, they try to raise your rent upwards of 60 a year then you have to argue with them to get a "resonable rent increase". The elevators, although brand new break all of the time and they normally take 3-4x longer to repair anything or complete any projects then the ETA they give you. They paint and lobby and hallways and use it as an excuse to charge more rent. The landloard is a mean little man with a napoleon complex and only bothers to talk to you if he has something to yell about. ...The parking lots are overloaded and have had to walk completely across the parking lot in a snow storm due to lack of parking for this many people. The apartment complex's hallways often smell terrible and the staff dosn't bother to listen when you need them to fix something or pretty much anything at all.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
There's no place like home!
September 23, 2015I am a 23 year old college student and I recently moved into Bishop Park Apartments. This is my first time living on my own and I couldn't have picked a better place to call home! I am a commuter student so the convenience of being right by the freeway is exactly what I needed. I am able to study in peace because it is so quiet and the neighbors are friendly. I can go for a swim in the pool or workout in the fitness center when I need to blow off some steam. It is so relaxing to sit out on my ...balcony and read a book or watch the sunset. I absolutely love my apartment!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Home Sweet Home
July 24, 2015I moved back to Ohio in November from Raleigh, NC to have my son and the amenities at Bishop Park are great for families and access to and from the highway, grocery stores, and the pharmacy are an added bonus, especially the new Dunkin Donuts they're building across the street! Great Job!Review from Apartments.com
