Don’t waste your time
September 7, 2019Don’t waste your time. There are better places in the area to rent from. Don’t be fooled by the grounds. Mice, roaches, crickets, etc. you will have to fight these pests constantly no matter how clean your unit is. This place is NOT maintained and management does not care. Our storage unit that was leaking and was never fixed. The HVAC system is horrendous and NOT maintained. We were told filters were changed every three months. No one came to our unit to replace a filter until we asked and in ...fact they didn’t do any HVAC cleanings until May (almost 10 months after we moved in) which seems to indicate it’s only done once a year. The insulation will not keep all rooms at the correct temperature and will have you freezing in the winter and burning up in the summer regardless of what you set your heater or AC to which means you WILL have higher bills from PECO and PGW. The water/trash and other utility charges are split between all units so you never know what the bill will be. And that trash bill? You will pay for it twice. Once for the regular trash and a second fee for the “valet” trash removal. Which is a service you cannot opt out of. You will see black trash bins on everyone’s porch. This is to place your trash in and its supposed to be picked up nightly. Sometimes it doesn’t even get picked up and most people don’t use the service but yet everyone still has to pay for it. Finally, parking. You have to pay for general parking and if you want a reserved spot it costs more. The issue is that there is not enough parking for everyone and management’s answer when we called and complained was that we should pay for a reserved spot. We are already paying for parking so the system in place should work. There should be enough spots for everyone. There are people that park in the lots that don’t rent here so when we came home at night we didn’t have a spot to park in. Imagine trying to haul in groceries or bring your children inside and having to park on the street and walk into the complex because there are no spots available. Management states they have hired a security service to take care of this but the service is not enforcing anything. No one is towed, warned or ticketed for illegal parking but yet we have to pay to not have a spot. If you like headaches and regret, this is the place for you. If not, keep looking.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
