About Bridge at Balcones
There seem to be two sides to Austin. Of course, there’s the honky-tonk, barbeque, and beer of Sixth Street and South Lamar…and then there’s rest of the city. Which is quite picturesque, with green rolling hills, lush lawns, winding streets and trails, towering trees, and about a million golf courses. The apartments here are downright roomy, averaging more than 1,000 square feet, with open layouts and nice touches like high ceilings, huge windows, and built-in laptop stations. The size of our very desirable townhomes is on par with some single-family homes, with nearly 1,500 square feet of living space. Live large? Yes, please! Beware "renovated" apartments!
May 11, 2021Very poor quality, sloppy, incomplete renovation and overall poor customer service from leasing staff (and regional manager apparently too busy to respond to customer satisfaction issues after more than a week waiting for a reply) Scratches on the floor of "newly renovated" unit, sloppy interior paint job including paint on kitchen cabinet hardware and on door knobs, paint stains on patio, old front door in need of repainting with rusty door lock, old ripped window screens (apparently original ...to the apartment when it was built 15 years ago) and the list goes on. Decided I wasn't going to wait weeks (or longer) for all the problems to be corrected so decided not to finish moving in. Got most of my money back (minus most of my app/admin fee of course) but they still charged me for 4 days rent while I was waiting for the leasing staff to get back to me. No apology ever offered and never once did any of the staff acknowledge that the quality of the apartment wasn't acceptable. Very disappointing.Property Manager Responded

The establishment is beautiful, both the apartments and the main office, and the amenities such as the pool, gym, and club area are quite charming and quite providing. Parking is a bit limiting at times, and trash valet is available, though inconsistent. June 10, 2020Do not move into upstairs town homes as I have been there 11 days with a light bill reading of 104$ just for 1 week reading. After several calls and request letting staff know something is wrong with apartment not heating up now I am left with 1 week high light bill still awaiting the next month bill which will probably be at least 400$. Single floor units are excellent here as I just transferred out of one and my light bill was never over 120$. Also you will not enjoy your apartment if you don't ...have a garage as parking is horrible.
