About Brightwood Gardens Cooperative
The Brightwood Gardens Cooperative was formed in 2007 by residents. It is operated by a resident Board of Directors to serve the affordable housing interests of its resident-members and depends on member participation to thrive. The limited-equity structure means members do not earn significant profit from resale, but benefit by sustained low carrying charges. Brightwood Gardens Cooperative has undergone various structural and interior renovations of its units to include fully renovated Studio, 1 and 2 bedroom units. December 22, 2022Since the property is not “luxurious” we do not have a concierge, front desk, or security, so expect your packages to turn up lost constantly. We have cameras in the building, but management will NOT be responsible for your packages or for checking the cameras if they gone missing. Other than that the place is very affordable considering the prices around the city!Review from Apartments.com

May 7, 2022Older building but freshly renovated, well located convenient to Georgia Ave shops and buses, and one of the last truly affordable occupant-owned buildings in NW DC.
