Renters Reviews and Ratings
good location, fair building, watch the manager
November 30, 2018I've lived here for over 2 years. I believed I have some experience to share with all of your. Over all, this place is 3 star. There are a lot of positive points, and also some negative dots, I'll write one by one. Pro: 1. location. 200 meters away from police station and USPS, 400 meters away from fire station, 7 minutes drive to 99 ranch. Very convenient. 2. safety. Gated community, I haven't heard any reporting on safety issues in the past 2 years, except mal-function of fire alarm. 3. ...great neighbors. The community is filled with people from different background, with a lot of Asian. Con: 1. The air condition is so noisy. You can hear yours, as well as your neighbors air condition running especially in HOT SUMMER NIGHT. The noise is featured with low frequency, so it spread very far. Sometimes it sounds like orchestra of air condition, with bass and drum. They tried to fix the noise in my apartment for the first year. At first it worked, but didn't last long. 2. There is no fridge in the room. You need to bring your own, and take it away when you move out. It is not very convenient. 3. Be careful with the manager. I'm not satisfied with the manager, Luz. She didn't follow the leasing contract and didn't behave like a professional manager. In this summer, my sink clogged and I called the manager for repairing. The manager sent people quickly (this is good, but ....). On the leasing contract, there was no fee for such service. But Luz charged me 20 dollars, saying that my sink was severely clogged, so she need charge me and asked me for 20 in cash. After I gave her 20 dollars, I realized there shouldn't be any fee according to leasing contract and I went to her office to discuss and asked for a receipt. She rejected and saying ''There is no receipts for services." I know I should have rejected her inappropriate requests at first and I can do nothing afterwards. But I need tell all of you that this senior lady is not qualified as a manager for this building. Watch her carefully. So, overall, I won't recommend my friends to live here unless they have another manager.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
