Brookdale Lakes is for you!
April 4, 2021I have been living at Brookdale Lakes for 7 years now. The only reason I’m leaving is I am relocating to a different state. The apartment homes: You’re surely to find a floor plan that works for you with 8 to choose from. I chose one with an attached garage and what a life changer! Great for inclement weather conditions, carrying in groceries, and for extra storage. The way the floor plans are arranged provides comfortable living. The flow from space to space is perfect with open space from ...kitchen/dining/living. I needed to have washer and dryer in unit, which all of these apartments have. Most have some sort of view - either tree lined or of the many ponds. The wildlife watching around the complex is awesome! Lots of natural light with all windows and doors. I did use the fireplace (and maintenance did the upkeep with chimney sweeping) and the giant tub for relaxing. Watching the wildlife in the the pond from the patio was a favorite pastime as well. It’s quiet! I have NEVER heard side-to-side apartment noise, only walking above me (which is expected when living on the first floor). The community: Small feel with only 200 apartments. Easy to meet people when out walking or at the club house. It’s a quiet neighborhood and Brookdale is a top-notch location in Naperville. I have always felt safe. There is a sense of community here. Well maintained grounds. Landscaping, lawn care, snow removal have all been great. Never any issues with a Chicagoland winter. Easy access to interstate-88 and down town Naperville. Also all of the stores, shopping, grocery, etc your heart could desire down Route 59. A diverse community of people. Young adult singles to families. Pet friendly with plenty of waste stations throughout the property. Also, a perfect sized dog park. Rarely noticed waste that wasn’t picked up. The club house will fulfill all your needs. You can even rent it out for parties if you would like. The fitness center, pool, hot tub, business center, gathering room, kitchen... it’s a home away from home. The maintenance staff are quick and attentive. I never had any major issues, but even minor repairs were done within 24 hours. The office staff have always been friendly, helpful, and respectful. There has been a lot of staff turn over in my 7 years, but I have never had any issue with any of the employees. With open communication by phone or email I have always been met with kindness.Property Manager Responded

Look No More!
March 2, 2021I have been a resident of Brookdale Lakes for 3 years and have absolutely loved it. The community is so well kept and in an amazing neighborhood. It’s a quiet, safe, and very dog friendly complex. The location is very desirable - 10 minutes from downtown, minutes from all of the shops/restaurants on Route 59, and just a mile down the road from the highway. Great experience living here
March 28, 2018I've been here 1 and a half years and so far I have no complaints. Management does a good job taking care of all our needs. I have a nice view of the pond and it's quite relaxing. The only thing I would change is perhaps to update the bathtubs/jacuzzi in the master. Other than that am quite satisfied with everything. Very Happy!!
March 27, 2018My wife and I have lived at Brookdale for one year and are thoroughly enjoying it. Our patio looks out over a lake and my wife absolutely loves and enjoys the pool. We find it amazingly quiet within our apartment and enjoy our friendly neighbors. Amazing Management Staff and Community
March 26, 2018I have been a resident with Brookdale Lakes, under Village Green management, for about a month now and have nothing but positive things to say about the management and community. Management: Birute and Rebecca have been critical in my relocation from California and provided me with such great assistance that I signed the lease without ever having visited the apartment. The process was seamless, concise, transparent and made me comfortable with my decision to rent here. They continue to ...demonstrate legitimate concern and build relationships with tenants, even post-move in, unlike some places that lay it on heavy but forget your name when you sign your lease. Keep up the great service! Community: Aside from the convenient amenities, Brookdale Lakes makes an effort to bring the community together in various activities and events. Just two weeks ago, there was a Wine Wednesday where all residents were invited to taste flavors from a local winery and socialize. Excited to see what future events they come up with and a great way to get to know your neighbors. This community is also one of the most pet-friendly places I've seen, which is a plus for all you dog-lovers out there. Maintenance: Upon move-in, I meticulously inspected my apartment and made a note of all the things I did not want to be accountable for when I moved out. I honestly expected some push-back where the staff would chalk it up to me being a difficult resident, but the response I got was quite the opposite-- my concerns were met with professionalism, attention and resolved in a very reasonable manner. Though my tenancy has been brief, I have confidence my time here will continue to be enjoyable and the management pleasurable to work with. Great amenities, responsive staff
March 23, 2018It's nearly impossible to find a luxury apartment/townhouse that allows dogs and has the following in your own unit: a wood burning fireplace, jetted soaker bath tub, wrap around patio with semi-private yard (first floor) and washer and dryer, plus the community has a pool, residents-only dog park and more. We've tried. And we never hear our neighbors! Its so quiet here! Another huge plus are the grounds...ponds and small lakes with all sorts if birds, fish, and other wildlife. The staff is ...outstanding and very responsive. Negatives are parking can be challenging for your guests on weekends and we've been waiting several months for a variety of community maintenance items to finish so you never know if you're running into a painting crew, roofers, or landscapers taking. But once it's done it should be great. If you enjoy community events, there is one every month or so and they appoint a pet of the month.Property Manager Responded

Awesome Apartments
March 22, 2018The location is perfect for anyone that's looking to stay right in the heart of Naperville. Everything we had planned was super close. July 9, 2016Very thin walls and floors. I moved in yesterday and on the 1st floor. I hear every pace, footfall, conversation, guest, door shut, water movement. Too expensive to have to deal with. Noise is horrible. I dread living here.Review from Apartments.com
