Save your credit - don’t Move
March 2, 2023Had very bad experience while living here for almost 1 and half year. They charged us for the apartment cancellation fee even though there were so many issue they didn’t fix it. They failed to properly handle my issue and they reported to my credit.I strongly advise anyone considering renting from this complex to look elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

Pest problem
October 24, 2019They have a roach problem roaches everywhere. I went in the kitchen for a late night snack and it was roaches all on my sink area, under my dry dish rack. The apartment across the other side is so ghetto. The police always riding around flashing their bright spot light all the time. These apartments trash!!!Property Manager Responded

Tow truck heaven
October 24, 2019Don’t stay here if you want your car towed. They work with the tow company, they allow the guys to come put orange stickers on your car and tow as the please for no reason. My car was towed in the middle of the afternoon. I don’t even live here I’m a guest visiting. I was parked in the visitor selection to! They claim it’s because I don’t have Texas plates. The lies!!!! Beware Moving Out Fees & Pest Issues
April 30, 2018I lived in the apartments for a full year. One thing they do is force you into a longer lease of 13 to 15 months to have cheaper rent. Then day one after I move in I discovered they had a huge pest control problems with roaches. Lots and lots of roaches. I reported this every week. However they does have someone come spray as long as you continue to request it. The roaches never went away. The lighting fixtures sucked. Bedroom had no ceiling fans or lights. The only ceiling fan was ...located in the living room. So yes I was ready to move out on day one. I stuck it out for a full year. When It was time to move out. I paid my last months rent gave them the address of my new apartment. I moved out on 3/9/18. Last Friday 4/27/18 I get a call from a collection company saying that Terrace reported an unpaid bill to them and yes it was reported to my credit. The bill was in the amount of $240 dollars for damages to floor tiles, carpet cleaning, and blinds. So I get carpet cleaning because most apartment does this. Tiles being damaged was complete bogus. My guess is that they wanted new flooring and decided to charge me for it. Blinds was damaged so I'm okay with that as well. Now carpet cleaning was only $45 dollars so how did I end up with such a high bill. Also I waited on this bill to come to my new place which it never did. I never received a phone call that I owed this. So basically They messed up my credit over a lousy little $200 dollar bill that could have easily been taken care of. Neighborhoods not the best either. Needless to say, I don't recommend this place to anyone and if you do decide to move in. Do so at your own risk. God Bless!Property Manager Responded

BEWARE YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!
July 17, 2017Each month, they find a way to add on to your rent. I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment covered in mold and mildew. I thought it was just my apartment when the family of 4 and the other family of 2 told me that most apartments are invested and covered in rot. This place is WAY to expensive, alongside the airplanes flying, and gun shots. Stay away, save your money, and time.Review from Apartments.com
ROACH AND MOLD INFESTED!!!
July 14, 2017because it did nothing. I’m not sure what type of roaches they are but they are very hard to kill. They walk around When I first moved in, my movers said “you have visitors”. I went to the front door looking for someone. He pointed to a mound of roaches coming out of the stove and all over the kitchen floor. I almost passed out. I had never seen so many roaches. I knew that there was an infestation and I was probably never going to get rid of them. Also, I noticed that the apartment manager tries ...to fault tenants for the roach infestation. Tenants can be the cause of roaches here and there, but if pest control is not effectively treating the apartments, an infestation will occur. That is not the tenants fault. I have rented for over 20 years—multiple dwellings and I’m sure some tenants close to me had roaches. I never had a problem with roaches/rats because the pest control companies were doing a good job combating pest. At the Terrace, there were roaches living in the smoke alarms. They would go off all night because the roaches were crawling around inside and triggering the alarm. I had to ask them to remove them out of the apartment. I saw remnants of roaches that had been painted over on the walls and pantry before I moved in. I spent hundreds of dollars buying professional strength spray to minimize the roaches in my apartment. The apartment manager kept sending pest control to my apartment. By that time, they have laid eggs all over the place. I never invited any one to my apartment because I was afraid that roaches would come out while entertaining company which would have been very embarrassing. My children and I were constantly experiencing upper respiratory illnesses. We made frequent visits to our family doctor for sinus infections. There was black mold covering the inside of the vents and some was on the wall. I was stuck in a lease so that was not an option. I went out and purchased about 5 air purifiers and was counting down the days of my lease ending. That apartment was killing us. After we moved out, we never experienced upper respiratory illnesses again. Skip The Terrace and Brookstone apartments. Go somewhere else.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

March 12, 2017I am very satisfied with my apartment here at Brookstone and Terrace. The value is really good. I love the location; we're close to shopping and restaurants in Irving and Euless. I have never had a bug problem or seen any crime issues. The only potential negative is the airplane noise, but it doesn't bother me. I just renewed my lease!Review from Apartments.com
