  • There are worse places

    May 1, 2017
    I lived in a 1BD unit for about a year and a half and had my issues. Because I was above the shops, there was a lot of traffic noise from 105 and security was questionable. Boone's generally a safe place but there was a break in to the shops below me and I realized how cheap the locks are on doors that are open to the public. Management could also be unenjoyable to deal with. Just an example of one situation with them: I have an ESA and when I told them they tried to get me to move out. However, ...
    the guys who come to fix things are great and the units are very spacious and close to campus. I would recommend getting a space heater though because the baseboard heaters are murder on the electric bill.
