Cheap
May 6, 2020The apartments are inexpensive and perfect for 1-2 people to live in. The neighbors are nice, we sort of have our own community. And internet is included in the rent. Unfortunately, the apartment management has decided to sell spots in our tiny parking lot for the OU game days. We don’t get any of the profit as residents, we only get the burden of having to fight tooth and nail to work, live, and run errands on Saturdays. The parking staff are reasonable though and if you talk to them they will ...help you. Maintenance can be hit or miss. You have to leave an Message on the emergency line to get a response. I just talked to a follow tenant that has been without A/C for 3 weeks. You can’t have chairs to sit on outside, plants, or an outside grill. Just an FYI. You must lock your car every night, ours have been broken into multiple times as have many of our fellow tenants. Management won’t put in cameras and I put a light bulb in myself at the laundry room door to make it feel safer at night. Sometimes apartments are empty and homeless people break into them and camp out until they are found. Basically it is cheap if you have to live here, but you probably won’t be happy. We have lived here multiple leases (no ones fault but our own, but continual rental history just looks good on us so) and nothing has changed for the better, so don’t hope that is a possibility.Property Manager Responded
June 11, 2020Thank you for your feedback. You are correct in the fact that Campus Station offers an affordable option of living right in the heart of Norman. With the property coming under new management in January 2020, some changes are underway; please be patient. The safety and quality of the community has become the top priority. The recent events in our world have brought to the attention of management the importance of Emergency Services and First Responders having safe and fast access to all units on property; which is why restrictions have been implemented across the board. It is a work in progress, but the Campus Station community is on a path to rise to the standard that it's valued tenants deserve; thank you for being with Campus Station!
