April 3, 2019I have lived here for over a year. This is great place to live. Beautiful apartments with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, plush carpets and laminates. Great pool and clubhouse. Close to everything I need. The best part is the management. Greg and his staff have gone out of their way to meet all my needs and concerns. I give it a five star rating? Management is Amazing
January 2, 2019I echo the other positive reviews. We moved back to Ft Wayne for a 9 month stint, reserved the apartment site unseen, and had a great experience. The apartments are up to date and clean, but the real jewel of Canal Flats is the management. Our date to be relocated out of state was shifted a few times which made ending the lease difficult, but Greg did everything he could to accommodate our situation. Garage door emergency
August 18, 2018The young man who manages the property is extraordinary. My granddaughter accidentally trapped her car in her auxiliary garage this evening, and during the extreme tornado storm going on, and when we thought all was as bad as it could get, he came out of nowhere and asked how he could help. He didn’t even give us his name, but without hesitation he leaped to assist us. I find this so heart warming. My granddaughter is in good hands at her new place. I didn’t realize he was the manager until my ...granddaughter told me after he spent the better part of an hour getting her garage door open. We attempted to give him $100 after he got the door released and everything working again, but he smiled and refused it. Gosh, it just means the world to me to see people like this still exist. I felt horrible because during the process of him squeezing his torso between the ground and door, my granddaughters storage bins filled with craft paints fell on him and stained his dress shirt and tie. Out of all things he said, “No worries, my four year old daughter loves pink.” He really turned our whole day around. During the time he was battling the thunder, lightening, winds, and rain, I was able to have a long talk with my little girl that has been needed.Property Manager Responded
